hey, if anyone interested, i have a couple extra Windows Live Messenger beta invites to give away


Live Messenger is the replacement for MSN Messenger 7.5, and the it just went into public beta, for existing beta testers, and invitees..

oddly enough, i doh use a MS client anymore ( rockin gaim fuh d while)  but if u wanna have a feel of the beta, i can send u an invite.....

now if only i could get some Live Mail beta invites....  thas the real flick... new interface, 2 gig storage.. pretty decent.. ( cept that they real draggin they feet with non IE browser support)

i got the yahoo mail beta, like live mail you have to ask them for the invite. It's basically thunderbird or outlook in a browser. very awesome.

In my expeience, those Live Messenger betas are not very stable. Also, the earlier betas looked much different but for some reason they changed back the GUI to this, which looks very similar to the 7.5

I been using Build 8.0.0566 for a lil while now and it seems quite stable to me, haven't had any problems whatsoever.

been using live messenger beta and it's got a much nicer interface although it's the exact messenger, which is fine i guess. The Windows Live Mail looks really great, but it only works in IE right now, it'll faults back to a nicer themed version of the old mail in firefox so as of now it's crap. even yahoo mail beta gave caution that it's not tested in linux but it still worked.

Yea, indian msn (beta...lol...sorry couldnt resist) is pretty cool, although, I want back my msn plus! Its rather difficult without all of the old features, that and MessengerDiscovery X.
