got OBLIVION today

i didnt like how my character was turning out either...but i couldnt stand the thought of starting over after having done so much quests so ..... i  used some of the cheats then degraded and increased some character stats , so i technically changed classes.

leme just say here too , invisibility is one ah d most cheapest spell in d game  , you could start a fight with all of the imperial city guard and then just drink an invisibility potion and they will just stand around while you walk away cool cool. it is the ultimate robba man spell...and oh lawd i probly sell over 10k in stolen goods. i cah help meself ... people house and shop so temptin.

about those trolls, i meet like 5 of them yes, they were painted trolls doh(a side mission), and they was hard ,omg, i had to whip out my staff and let them know what timin it is yes. 
i start missions for the dark brotherhood, wow they real cool, reminds me of playing thief 2 back in the day. i at level 8 and now close the gate to kavatch. lol. got some great gear for joining the dark brotherhood too. So to sum it all up so far:

Blades:Knight Brother
Arena:Grand Champion
Fighters Guild:Journeyman
Darkbrotherhood:Eliminator
Thieves guild:pickpocket (hadda start doing missions for them yes)

No a burnt copy wont affect anything - but if you really like it and think it's awesome, and want an elderscrolls 5, buy it.

Grass is the biggest hit - 6800gt can run it at 1280x1024 without the grass easy. But this game appears made for the x1900s - 1280x1024 HDR+AA, everything maxed. It's prettier than real life

2GB ram helps - stopped the jerkyness i was originally getting.

both nvidia and ati cards have buggy self shadows - ati's more noticable.

Want the game to be prettier?

1. chuck patch - anyone on an x1000 ati card

2. Replace the low res textures used for distant land

3. Normal map replacement - this alone will prevent the checkerboarding on distant land. Use with the higher res textures

but I never considered going to 2 GB of ram. interesting that you mentioned it cured your stutters.

That's a relatively cheap upgrade. Another 1gb is just about TT$600-700.

Will give that a try as well as the 7900gt

i must admit that the dark brotherhood had the most fun and twisted side quest i ever played in a game for a long time,gotta kill people using stealth etc. if your not a member of the dark bortherhood, you should check it out, all you gotta do is kill a few people without any guards seeing, and then go take a nap, you will be visted by them.

  there is a fix to cure the stuttering i got , worked fine on my 6600gt while she was alive, it involves making the game use multiple threads....  just go into the .ini file in my documents and change anything with ''threads'' from '' 0'' to '' 1''  and ''max threads'' or something like that to ''20'' , it helps even on single core cpus ...
 game only uses like 700mbs of memory , very memory efficient .

Max Specs the PC is better....but not by much. Really and Trully you dont notice a HUGE difference.

X1800, you lookin at Bloom yeah...tough break man. But it'll still look great I think...just not OMG great...

The menus were designed with the 360 in mind, and you'll get all the bells n whistles on the 360 by default, so since you are a fortunate owner of said console, might be worth your while to pick that version up...one way or the other, this game should be in your library!
