OK,

This is an RPG similar to Final Fantasy 7 but differs in that it is not turn based. The fighting takes place in real time.

Also, it uses a unique control system where various mouse gestures execute different moves. This added a refreshing level of complexity to combat never before scene in an action rpg.

I see there have been no posts for a month so I hope it is ok if I restart the game. If no objections ... This was the very first game I played on a PC. A friend had it and he was stuck in it. I played for a little bit and got stuck as well. It is an adventure game with the main character having the same name as a gaming VOIP technology.

I honestl have no clue though as to what this game is. This almost looks like an ATARI or early Lucas Arts game but no names come to mind.

Ok, one week is up. The game is Space Quest 3: The Pirates of Pestulon. The main character's name is Roger Wilco which some of you may know as a VOIP tech. I guess I get to post another game for you guys to guess at. This one was my very first dungeon crawl. Actually, the version of the game I played was for NES and not PC. You would think a person's first dungeon crawl would be on PC, but I digress. The game was available for NES, Apple II, Commodore 64 and MSX. This was one of the games that would contribute to me really getting into RPG's. There was a spell called Katino that would put enemies to sleep, sometimes anyway.

It seems that there are a lot more posts in the console section than the pc section so I thought I would start up a name that game over here. Simple rules apply:

1. One person posts a pic of any game (console, pc, handheld, arcade) along with a simple clue. A more obscure game can have more clues or a more in-depth clue.

2. One week is given to guess the name of the game. A close guess (within series) should suffice.

3. The person who posted the pic has to first confirm the guess is correct. Then, the person who guessed correctly gets to post another pic.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

I will kick things off with a fighting game. I played this game for the first time on my PC with Mame. It is a mostly weapons based game but there is a real bad @$$ kung fu guy who look like he come straight out of Tai Chi. He fights with one hand behind his back.

That was very close. It is Last Blade 2. The game have some of the best animation I have seen in a fighting game. Your turn to post.

yeah, Lee is my second favourite in that game.

The last blade 2 in deed, blessedly indepth fighting and the super despo were so difficult to perform that it was always a joy to get them off.

But Setsuna ownttt all base

His super despo was just theee best anddd the hardest to pull off de man was justt tooooo gyangsta! especially in ex mode!! lorsh!
