Tracking Sims

Hey ppl. I was thinking that many ppl phones get stolen or lost and ppl get frustrated when the police or TSTT can't do anything about it. Especially TSTT!!! Now I was wondering if there is a certain software or hardware or watever to be able to like track sim cards or track like the serial number of a phone? If anyone knows anything plz post it up. Thank u.

Well there was this: http://www.engadget.com/2006/01/20/world-tracker-turns-anyone-into-a-cellphone-spy/ but I dont know if they close up or what. Basically TSTT could probably do it if they ever got off their collective asses long enough to try.

It's like the atricle about the tech who was using the stolen password, its lookin like TSTT only got off their asses because the woman went and called out the fraud squad.

(I mean is crappy T&T reporting so it lacking facts and may be misleading in the way it was said but "The court heard that investigations began when Sandy De Gannes, a nurse of Marabella, made a report to the Fraud Squad in San Fernando. De Gannes complained last year that she received an Internet bill for $4,038 and could not say how the figure was arrived at."

To me that says that TSTT refused to take action until the police show up and bawl "I am constable Brown, they call me Boy Blue".)

Basically the company with the GSM global tracking seems to suggest that it's not only possible, but quite simple if one assumes that there's only a single telecom in the whole country.
