I second the motion BOO on crixx... yeah its a 945, I cyah rem which online site gutted it, but they did. OS X makes windows (any version) look like a LINUX CONSOLE window... OLD and user UNFRIENDLY. Boo @ crixx.

Crixx is a noob. OF COURSE YOU CAN RIGHT CLICK. In fact ever since USB you were able to RIGHT CLICK. You DO know that a 2 button or higher USB mouse will work on a MAC right? in FACT Apple HAS a 2 button mouse... who doesn't know that? but anyways, that fact is you can buy ANY USB mouse plug it in and it will work. Then you can configure the 2nd button (right click) to do whatever you want it to... come on crixx find out b4 u bash.

Have you used OS X? seriously? multitasking on a mac is SO easy on OS X, faster, alot more useful and alot more visually pleasing. I doh know what OS you were using when u used those machines wherev but I am sure it was NOT OS X prolly OS 9 which was ALOT different. Get with the times crixxx and seriously back up ur claim not just say I used them in college 50 yrs ago and it was crap... yeah thats the equivalent of Win98SE.... :p bleh

  it is not 4x as fast as the Power pc cores, its 1.2-1.3 x as fast , and most of the time its SLOWER due to having to run emulation software to decode programs written for power pc..
    But the nice thing about using Intel cpus, is that you can easily modify it to dual boot windows XP for gaming :p..
  Or a Windows user can get a taste of mac without having to pay for a whole system,  though i doubt apple will ever sell their OS on CD .. but nothing stops us from  'borrowing' it .
   
   Funny how apple reached here, 2 years ago  they were claiming their CPUs were faster and more efficient than intel by a huge margin,  now they using intel ...   
   I won't be surprised if they jump the boat to AMD.. or  start using  those 8 core SUN cpus eventually... either company does a much better job of multicore than Intel and its shared FSB .

Not likely Trini... that 8 core sun processor has a somewhat limited scope. I've read the article on it and its really suited for web servers and databases but normal use won't see the benefit of its power. Also its architecture makes it limited to whatever software sun comes up with since its proprietary tech. Niagara is what ur talking about but I can't see that ever making its way into the desktop market. As for AMD... 1 can only hope, 1 can only hope...
