I played my Dreamcast hard for a year or so before getting my PC. Favorite game was Soul Calibur (which I actually bought the system for), followed very, very closely by one of my allt-ime favorites, Starlancer. Loved that game. Beat it three times. Seldom do that.
Dreamcast was also great because I actually used to browse the net with it.
Yeah...I really did actively surf the net with my Dreamcast when my computer was down for a few months. Checked mail, even replied to a few, visited IGN daily...it was sweet.

My Genesis was the love of my life for years. I live those years through ROMs now. Man...those days were just the best. All the mischief, bachannal and the very real excitement that surrounded a new game.

My Saturn...was a bust, because I only got a few games for it and could never afford more. It's somewhere under a bed now. I want to find it to bust out the control pad which will be great on the Magic Box adapter in HQ.

I was always a Sega man. Always.

Ended when I got my Playstation though, even though there were days I would alternate between both consoles.

Yo Karrion, those pics of Astro boy look like the kid robot from Big Guy and Rusty.  IMO, the DC controller could have used a few more buttons.  At least four, but otherwise the systems were good.  I never played any of the systems except for the Sega Saturn.  There was some batman and robin game or something where robin had a certain move called a frenzy.  Basically you would ring dragon punches or hadoukens with this button like crazy to build up anywhere over 250 hits, with each rep doing about 2 hits.  I leant how to keep my skin on my thumbs that day.

Hey, has anyone played that Die hard Trilogy I think it is?  That was a mad remake of punisher type games.  Cool moves, nice graphics, responsive controls and the whole lot.

I think that the Sega Genesis was the best at the time...i used to live on mine. the only think was that the sound quality was not as good as some games  on supernintendo....but no one can argue that Sonic was the best game at the time.  :o
