Well being an xbox fan yeah I'd stick with xbox, the homebrew scene alone makes it so useful for all the content you download on ur pc...and of course Halo, yes I know FPS is PC but I dunno nah the halo series kinda grew on me :p

I will be buying both! Each console will have it's own pros and cons, so cover all the bases. And I will get the Revolution when that come out too.

I would go with the ps3, it's more powerful than the 360, capable of better graphics, and has a fair amount of spectacular titles (Killzone, Tekken, Gran Turismo...). I just hope that it would have alternatives to that boomerang controller, be it 3rd party or whatever.

Ebentually when i start working in the police service and get things in order, ( money starting to flow) i will get both if not all three systems, but i am not going to buy them right away, i will do like a price conscious person and wait for the price to drop, since i have read these posts i dont think anyone wants to awit on a price drop. The wait will also be good to make better descisions for the gamese to be purchased, and save some money for more important things, like getting a house!!!!

No less than Ken Kataguri himself is listed among the inventors, which makes it look like this is a move that came from very high up. It has already been pointed out that many Playstation users have had to replace their console, surely this would leave us high and dry in that event.

While the PS3 hasn't been expressly mentioned in the patent in English or Japanese it would be the obvious place to employ this new technology, regardless of how little gamers will appreciate it. Between this and the DRM scandal, Sony could be looking at a serious drop in interest in the PS3. You can be sure you'll see more on this as it develops. As gamers, we can only hope that modern technology won't undermine the tried and tested barter system"

as far as i see it most gamers don't even consider nintendo a major player in the nex gen console wars. unless nintendo get some real exclusive rights like mgs halo or gta, i see no way of them emerging at the top. since i'm not made of money, i'll be buying one console, the ps3, simply my choice though
