What's the point in hitting ladies? it's pointless!!!

I was sitting in the office of Tech Source a night (07/11/2005 11:00pm) and I was wondering...
Why the hell do guys hit women...I mean even if they are immensely upset, dudes should find ways...you know mature measures of dealing with the problem or conflict. Not beatingher upside the head with a baseball bat!

Even if you are verbally abusive, that's even worse..I mean my dad used to verbally abuse my Step mom and it sucked...he used more profanity than Cartman (South Park)

I honestly don't see the point. There's nothin' macho about hitting a chick, physically or verbally...it makes no sense.
I don't know why I posted this but I do know something:for all the dudes and Cabrons out there, don't hit a woman, it makes no sense and it makes life worse, you actually sacrifice your manhood when you do crap like that.
I mean at the same time don't be a softy, and get treated like a little punk, but basically, try to find ways to resolving a situation like that.

However if a woman is trying to kill you now.. well that is a different story..CQB time!!!

some women are not easy yuh know ...O_o and they frustrate men just like women there is only so much a man can take before he goes berserk...also some men are just abusive from there past they were bullied ...by parents ..friends ..enemies watever the case and then there are jus the NUTS ..
man it is wrong to disrespect a woman yes it is and i hope gatters know that treat your women best next to your xbox 360 ; .Well uh okay honestly alot of the gatters are still at a ..tender age .no BUT when you reach, the olders man O_o treat them right no reason to hit or get abusive ...if sh@t happens it wasnt worth it and no matter how much you say you love em or liked em still dont give you no f@$! right to hit her ..
Also ..never hit your mother i had a friend that was on that abusive scene really gave him a speech didnt help but thats why his ass ended up in YTC
Its just no worth it on whole to hit a women you get nothing out of it.
On this one case in my younger years there was a friend of mine that use to hit abuse his girlfriend and all of my other friends use to big him up with the sh2t "playa , pimp" etc to me he was a no good f@! XD
end of the day she left his sorry tale and now has her own buisness in p town and he well uhh if cepep had a opening i think he would go
So the ending up know better and just keep your head on take out your stress playing a game or something.

My stance on this is hitting women is wrong. Thats from my religious and ethical upbringing. But deeply rooted better judgement also denotes its wrong. I am not saying there are not circumstances where it might damn well be necessary (see life threatening point made at end of first post). But apart from very particular circumstances its wrong. They're smaller and more fragile (IN MOST CASES ANYS) than we are (although I have seen a woman real lambass a man in mayaro... but i'll not get into that). Also the point about being in an abusive family and growing up that way... whilst I agree its a cause I don't agree its something that should happen. I mean there are ppl out there that come from TERRIBLE pasts... family DIRT poor, was abused, etc and they turned out fine cause they made the conscious decision to make life for THEIR families better than they had. I doh understand ppl who come from the GUTTER and spread the GUTTER in their lives and those around them, they need real buss @$$ for not being better. With the exception of COMPLETELY CERTIFIABLE CRAZY ppl, I do NOT consider as abusive pass even REMOTELY excusable for abusive actions. BUt then my tolerance and scheme of punishment is more severe than most so that might be why I doh think thats acceptable for hitting a girl WORSE YET CHILD. daz my 2c

I find it funny when people try to justify hitting women (I'm not saying that any of you did, just I have gotten in alot of arguments about that). But I know that some men just cant help it, where as its not just abuse, its something wrong about them selves (ie some kinda mental friggup ting). I find it to be the worst when they feel that it needs to be done to prove that they are a man...that is utter BS, if hitting someone makes them feel good about them selves, they need to subject themselves to some level lix and then see how they feel about that.

And for the people saying that it would be ok to hit a woman in a life threating situation....why you getting your self into a situation like that? lol and even still...IMO, it would still be wrong...

I agree with you all, hitting women is ABSOUTLEY WRONG!!!! but when it comes to my life (lets say me and some woman in an argument  and she ready to chop or stab and this is after she already landed 2 or 3 slap) man dat go get LIXX!!!

now with that said i am not a violent person nor do i ever argue but like others said, there is only so much a man can take.

and on topic its not only about women in relationships
its also dealing with Mothers,Aunts,Grandmoms and all the other friends ,cousins,sisters,neices,children
its not right on whole no matter your temper that is not a valid excuse

i aint have no probs with families. i never really think i hit a relative, unless you count when i was like 8. most of my fights is with the ladies in a relationship

I was thinking of more circumstances when u might do the ungentlemanly act of hitting a female and a few came to mind, now note I do not agree with hitting a female in most situations as I have pointed out, however there are a few things that really do call for some good ole fashion cut arse:

1.Married, come home find another man in yuh bed wearing yuh clothes, yuh wife, and yuh false teeth (this actually could lead to more than cut arse)

2.Married and she abusing yuh children (actually yuh doh haffee be married, once yuh catch dem abusing yuh children either physically or otherwise....)

3.She horn yuh and give yuh a sti or std (dat could cause more dan cut arse too)

4.The girl is part of a drug/bandit ring and she stab yuh up in a fete (sounds far fetched but I know someone who get stab in wet fete a year, he was pulling some woman towards a police officer for trying/robbing ppl, next ting yuh know he feel a sharp pain and blood was runnng down he shoulder) IMHO dat is REAL LIX if yuh grab hold of that b1tch. This also applies to dem pplz robbing on de east west corridor is does have gyul with dem fellas robbing and raping plz dread (WDF T&T coming to).

5.The gyul crazy (mentally off) they might need a hard slap to come to their senses (shock treatment optional).

A friend of mine uses the expression: "If you're MAN enough to HIT ME, you're MAN enough to get hit" I agree with this somewhat, but only in situations as provided above.
