Batman Cartoons

Well I know lots of ppl will say the old batman cartoons (1992-1995) were the best Batman cartoons out. THen they had the Batman Beyond one, which was......bleh. But the RETURN OF THE JOKER version from that series was very very good, especially the uncut version.

Now theres the new Batman series out with different voices and such. Anyway they made a full length animated movie called BATMAN VS DRACULA.....and you know what.....its actually pretty damn good. Yea the cover is lame and the title makes you go WTF....but serious its cool. Nice eerie music too. Watch it at night

I got my hands on it and watched it and liked it. I dont fancy this new series that much, kinda childish in comparison to the gritty older version with Mark Hamill as the Joker, but this cartoon is worth picking up. check it out



SYNOPSIS

This animated Bat-tale features a unique twist on the legend of the Caped Crusader. While attempting to thwart the usual array of deviant evildoers such as Penguin and the Joker, Batman suddenly finds himself face to face with a villain who has a penchant for blood and an aversion to garlic--yes, it's Dracula! As the citizens of Gotham City slowly and unwittingly succumb to the Count's unfortunately persuasive ways, Batman has to fight off this new menace while also returning the newly-bloodthirsty Gothamites back to their old eating habits.

Been a batman comics fan for a while. The new series disappointed me by moving even farther away from what was suppossed to have happenned concerning the creation of different enemies, friends etc.

Still, another cartoon movie ain't bad

Batman >>> Superman, special power = script writers.
Now if only they'd make a batman cartoon movie of "The Dark knight returns"/"Dark knight strikes again"...

SUperman is my favortie superhero. This man DEFINES hero...plus he practically invincible now. Doh mind Batman does roll with the big boys even though he have no superpowers. i give him REAL props for that.

thanks for that in depth and very informative opinion Narcissus. So if someone kill your parents infront your face you wouldnt want revenge? and then AFTER becoming so powerful to take the revenge you wouldnt think a person can change?

take yuh revenge an move on.... that doh mean yuh hadda take on all bad guys everywhere... it have real superheroes with real powers for that

oho.........i see i see. They stress on that, when you kill that person it didnt end but fed his fire. Remember revenge is all the man know.....the money is secondary, and he have enough of that to burn. He spend his entire life seeking revenge.......no doubt when you spend your life plannign for something and it ends like this, the feeling is not of satisfaction. To add to that they NEED Batman, he is one of the greatest minds of a the "super"heroes.

You actually sounding like them kinda ppl you hear bout in them comics that does enjoy raining on superhero's parades with "we dont need you" speeches.

anyhow man narc remember this is how the settin was back then and to me it makes sense he has the money the power ..so why not do some good for gotham after all wtih sick freaks like the joker etc O_o ..plus this guy is teh underdog no super powers etc ...and he still pwnz man you gotta love batman

C'mon man batman is the greatest, Anyone who read the dark knight returns know he is the only senior citizen to defeat supes. Of course it took alot of firepower but he did it. Now don't get me wrong I like supes although I kinda find him a tad too clean cut. Batman though is a ninja and everybody loves a ninja.  As for the new cartoon it okay but it really does mess up som of the bat mythology.
