their is a converter that patches the y-axis on PAL games

I use it for PS2 games and it works good...jus a lil bit on the bottom of the screen you can't see

Yea, but does it work on fifa 2006? cause there are alot of games that it doesnt work with...and not just that, also the quality of the game itself is worse (well IMO anyway)

Dudes & dudettes, I must say, Fifa 06 is way diofferent from 2005. Different comentators, more advanced player movememnts and they actually go retro! Go to see the very first fifa soccer game they created all the way up to 2004. It's real nice! Hope when ah come with it, people will play come SUnday SUHWEAT IMMC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone played Pro Evo Soccer 5 ?

I find Konami soccer games were way ahead EA in terms of graphics and gameplay

PE5 kinda hard to play doh....is not jus a simple tap of the joystick to do a trick

Excellent graphics and motion physics though

I doh find they ahead in graphics atall. All the men have the same structure, they arent shorter or taller and the comentator isnt as good. FIFA is by far a more polished game but Pro Evo/Winning Eleven (same game mind you, one is UK one is US) has MUCH better gameplay. The AI is better. But up till now i cant see any difference in the ball physicis that people talk about. However, more ppl gonna play FIFA anyway.

For one thing in Winning Eleven 8 the ball floats like  a balloon when a shot is taken. But i don't know about FIFA 2006 , getting it in about an hour.

Well comparing PE5 to Fifa 2006....the ball physics ARE different. Like if you make a pass in Fifa 06, the ball follows a linear path....if it's intercepted or trapped...again it follows a linear path. With PE5, depending on the length and power on the pass...the ball with actually bump a few times before reaching the player.

Also if you sprint while trying to tackle....and go straight infront the opposition you end up fouling them harder than usual. Even if you sprint into somebody from any direction you throw them down or off balance.

The commentry not all that in PE5, Fifa 06 win there.

But i think with gameplay and simulating a football match...PE5 win.

Fifa 06 it easier to score goals.
