yeah, the workstation cards are geared towards opengl, not so much general gaming.
It is usually a driver side thing since the hardware is most often based on a regular gaming card.
The ATI Firegl T2 for instance is pretty much a Radeon 9600 tweaked for the workstation market.
If you drop a regular 9600 Radeon driver on there (some patched ones exist) you can get all the gaming goodness out of it, sans glitches.
Same should apply for these puppies.
See if you can find out what gaming card they are based on and see if there are any hacked drivers.
