LOL... but i'm into all genres. Linkin Park's a cool band compared to some others. Even though Tupac was a little vulgar, as Laertes said the msg in his lyrics were very deep. Steups, you think Fiddy's lyrics is on a  par with Tupac's? Oh plz!  Fiddy is a good rapper and all but he's  more diluted, not only him but there are ALOT  of them these days.

I remember the first time I heard Evanescence while watching Daredevil. I think the next day I went out and bought the CD. I think Amy Lee has the best voice I have ever heard. She could even make Alanis Morrisette's songs sound good if she re-did them.

I personally am intrigued by the female voice especially in the Gothic World of Music...
This post is a tribute to some of my favourite as well as recognition of Many Many other bands that exist but fall to be never known or heard...

I started off with Amy Lee, "Evanescence", and to date they are still my favourite band, my favourite vocal. They also are the most mainstream of the bands to become mentioned..but that doesn't hinder their quality and style of Music I've come to love...


Amy Lee, Evanescence

Eventually came along Lacuna Coil and Christina Scabbia's haunting and mesmerizing Vocals... I'd thank my friends Kill 'em All!!!, Gildae and others for introduncing me to this band. The vocals are top-notch in the competition, the music is a great and more heavy approach to the Female Goth World.

Soon Afterwards, (thanks to youdidthis) I was introduced to the Dutch Goth Band "Within Temptation" and Sharon den Adel's vocals far surpass my expectations of the female voice and have given Amy a run for the top spot... This is a great band and the Highest Recommendation from me if you haven't heard them yet...

So for a few months now, I have been enjoying particularly Within Temptation and Evanescence's music on my mp3 player...
Until it was decided I should try out some other bands in the same genre.

Nightwish and Tarja Turunen's vocals has recently been added to my music collection but I haven't listened to much but just a few... And I must add what a wonderful band they are! (Its just too sad I took that long to hear them)

After hunting for some similar bands to add to my ever growing love of Gothic Female Fronted Bands with Great Vocals (thats a mouthful..lol)

Which is ironic...because although I cannot stand to listen to Tarja's voice, for some odd reason, and Amy's voice is clearly more acessible... Traja has better control, range, pitch than Amy has even on her best day. Easily.
