Friday im flying out to FLorida, Ft Lauderdale to do my second degree. I already have an MBA in Business Management. Im doing a second in Digital ENterainment and Game Design at ITT Tech and im also doing an internship program with EA (and hopefully a job when im done)

The degree is only for 2 years and go be commin for xmas. IS really just accross the road but for those that care i figure i would give alyuh a heads up. peez out to the GATT crew. of course i go be on the console forums as usual when i settle up over there.

hey shivadee best of luck man, i plan to go along the same route and get myself in the gaming industry
but these things take time and no path is the same, but what i would like to know is how old are you?
I am nineteen and i am lookin to see what time span ill be looking at to get into that industry.

well thanks for de advice man, so i guess ill just take it easy, meh mother always tellin meh that ah rushin too much, most people in the industry have bachelors and what not, so ill take my time to find the right groove i want to get in, dont know yet but soon, yeah!!!

just a little advice to ppl wanting to get into the industry

1. Because you play games doh mean you can make them. The guy who is helping me into EA is always saying some young ppl come into the company with "you dont know what youre doing IIIIII know how to make games" and that pisses them off right there...i guess you can figure out the reprocussions

2. You really have to be dedicated. I mean Im here doing courses in AUTO CAD and Dreamweaver and then MATHS and sh!t and i want to do marketing. BUt its the path I choose to get into the field. A bachelors in videogames is brand new and MUCH more specified than comp sci or animation. I stand a better chance of getting into the field.ESPECIALLY since im international

3. You HAVE to know someone in the field. It not easy to get in. I tried from the lowest (people who made STOLEN to the big MS and SONY guys) and none of them hiring. It eh easy. you really need to know someone. ANd having citzenship in the US or Canada or maybee the UK doesnt hurt ATALL.

4. I love TALKING and READING about the industry and games MORE than playing it. Marekting is my field and i love it. I love to sell a game, who wants to buy it and why. What is the selling factor adn what could CAUSE more of these games to sell,,,,,in other words INOVATION.
