I would also recommend a book called Someone Comes to Town, Someone Leaves Town. The author Cory Doctorow, who's a blogger, EFF activist and co-editor to BoingBoing has actually released this and all his other books for free, online under a Creative Commons Licence. The book's science fiction and it represents a very forward thinking step in publishing and intellectual property.
