opinions do not equal profit. This entire article is controvertial and anyone can argue that these points are wrong. When PS2 came out it was called PS 1.5

Although i want a 360. I not standing in no line with cold breez blowing in mih tail. But apparently pleny other ppl were. With the so called 2nd launch of XBOX 360's all the stores have sold out. From Best Buy to Wallmart they are all gone.

Personally I go wait till i can get one off the shelf regular just like the PSP and its availability. But every single one sell out before 10 am.......some sell out since 6am.

I've played the Xbox 360 a couple time...COD2, Kameo and that KingKong game. Its just like a regular Xbox but the graphics have way better resolution. I haven't seem any realistic character models, no special lighting effects, no extra interactivity..etc The games are in no way any different from the ones we playing now. It will be up to the game developers to make something out of this system. Right now I not liking it. And thats because of the games...not the system. The controllers are fine, the system itself is a little too big. If I had one now I would sell it, but as for now they all sold out.

wrong wrong and wrong again

the COD2 on the XBOX is on par with the COD2 on the PC. So is Kong. a HUGE improvement.

But dont give me that "its the same thing with better graphics" because since SNES, that is all that has been happening.

I dont FULLY agree with that statment, I mean, maybe from about ps1 or so, but there have been VAST advances.... In games such as Metal Gear 3 and even GTA:SA, that sort of gameplay was hardly fathomable(sp?) by most means, and even up to now the ps2's life span is comming to an end, there still are advances being made in the quality of games (IE:Graphics, gamplay...the games in general!)

However, comparing the xbox to the xbo360 directly, it just seems like improved graphics thus far, I dont wanna say anyhting, cause the first generation of games that are released almost always suck ass....

Contra 3 was a VAST advance

FF6 was a VAST advance

Super Mario World was a VAST advance

Zelda 3 was a VAST advance

they are few and in between. One is always an advancement over another

GTA is the vast advance (not anymore)

Half Life 2 is a VAST advance

HALO is a VAST advance (for consoles)

Spinter Cell is a VAST advance

when do we see these "vast" advances. MOST (not some) of the time we notice them in the middle of the console life cycle. And again, we rarely see games that really REDIFINE its genre. WHat I am saying. Games today have kinda hit a wall. Its getting pretty stagnat and anyone who has played games for a long time notices. Good games are far and few and in between.

However, when they DO so, its well done. But yes, the 360 has yet to prove itself. But then every system when it comes out kinda does this. PS2 was the same thing.

Resi 5, the other zombie game, Ninety Nine Nights looks good too, THE outfit lookin like a next Mercenaries. One thing i can say for CERTAIN. Plenty companies and MS themselves brining out new titles rather than sequals, which i hadda say is a DAMN good thing.

what i want to see is a modchip that will flash the xbox 360 bios to allow peopel to install Linux, 360 would make a great workstation for cheap with its 3 cpus , or a good game server , running 3 or 4 different games at the same time..
Or buy 10 Xbox's 360's for 5000us , linux them all , and put them on a high speed network to share resources like a render farm , Thats 30 CPUs and 5 gigs of RAM for the price of ONE workstation ... CAD , Maya , 3dmax and photoshop is nothing with that kinda power .
