Laertes, will you be getting a HD to go with that Arcade and joining the Trini Crew on Live? What games were you looking to get and play online may I ask?

Halo: Reach May Be Natal-Enabled
Bungie expresses excitement for new peripheral, "absolutely think" Reach could be Natal-enabled.

http://www.1up.com/do/newsStory?cId=3174992

It appears that Microsoft is launching their new motion sensing peripheral Project Natal next year. To give the new peripheral a boost, it only makes sense to have it work with the Xbox 360's biggest franchise -- Halo. And that appears to be what Bungie is aiming for with Halo: Reach.

Speaking with the Seattle Times, Bungie president Harold Ryan expressed excitement for the new peripheral, saying, "I absolutely think Reach could be enabled with it."

At the moment though, Bungie is intent on promoting its upcoming title Halo 3: ODST, which they have billed as an open-world title. Heading to different sites in the city triggers "flashbacks," which drops the players into various missions and helps players put together the mystery.

"We're doing a lot of pretty neat things in terms of mixing it up, introducing some non-linearity, some free exploration," said writer and creative director Joseph Staten.

"This is also a mystery story so there's a lot more clue-finding and mystery-solving than you would normally find in a game of this kind - nothing that strays too far from the fun Halo experience, but we definitely decided to take a little bit of risk and have some fun with this one."

Halo 3: ODST is due September 22, while Reach is scheduled for fall of next year -- most likely just in time for Natal.

Fireball gears 2 unless you're buying it strictly for single player. Gear 1 is still best for multiplayer.

Ah W1nTry...

Gears 1 STILL cannot hold a candle to the awesome juggernauts that are SOCOM: Confrontation and Killzone 2.  Not to mention, the upcoming MAG.

I think GOW's collective bases have already been pwnt, but if all you have is an Xbox 360, I guess it'll have to do.

Wait...did I just sound condescending there?  Maybe it was my intention. :happy0203:

Gears musb real shit if u sayin d beta that is SOCOM: Confrontation dat slant 6 sell us better dan it

MAG ok but like i said many times too big
no clan battles = casual micless fragfest

from ign e3 hands on
"there's the promise of maps that cater to 'smaller' scale battles of 128 and 64 player too"

64 players seem to b the smallest games. no way u gonna hav 31 other clan members online at the same time to do any battles this is PS3 after all

Well Arc I didn't even need to respond Blu did that adequately albeit a little heavily 'slanged'

I've never played socom but COD4 is good enough for I and I doubt you'd have anything bad to say about a game of the year, that aside gears still is a unique experience hence why I like it.

Last I checked killzone is what the american call palestine when the israelis bombing the crap out of innocent ppl AND their allies and if you have to resort to an 'upcoming' title things on the PS3 front must REALLY be bad, but then ask Redlum his EXPENSIVE PAPER weigh.. I mean PS3 has offered him tonnes of... well it's a VERY pretty paper weight.

You get what you pay for and PSN is??? cost what??? right....

My Xbox is a bess console that is also a media center XD.

Either console honestly comes down to preference Woody yuh gone against, but with the RROD issues its understandable. That's really the ONLY issue MS really had with this console (which is a SIGNIFICANT ONE). Other than it being faulty, I think its the more mature gaming platform.

LOL...I was joking W1nny (well, kinda).

GOW is a juggernaut.  Hands down.  There's a reason its total online playtime has eclipsed
even the almighty Halo trilogy.  Epic gonna stay paid, no matter what.

Honestly, each game is uber in its own way.  I think a lot of the initial problems that
plagued SOCOM have now been fixed, so the online experience is a lot smoother.
So far, I have experienced very little lag, whch is a mighty good thing indeed.

As for MAG, well, we will have to wait and see how the online really turns out.
I for one will be jumping in feet first.

My only problem is free time to play em all.

Yuh miss de message there, more mature as in XBL has been around longer than PSN and as such MS has developed a stable, powerful platform for multiplayer.

Again this references the previous point, you're not paying simply for the features, you're paying for the maintainance of solid servers and supporting hardware that make the XBL experience better than PSN atm.

If anyone was gonna buy Garou Mark of the Wolves or King of Fighters 98 Ultimate Match for netplay

DON'T

The netcode is atrocious and lags with anything over 70ms. Its probably a good thing I'm getting KOF12 free or else I would've cancelled a preorder one time.

BOOOOO SNK

have you tried going to the Media section/blade. Going to Video and selecting the removable media device from the list?
