we have been ranting and raving about the Tekken tournament scene on these very forums for the past few months.

didn't you hear about the GigaGames Caribbean CyberSport Cup in Guadeloupe?

We flew out a team of three Trinidadians to represent the country. Spent 9 days in Guadeloupe at Hotel Calinago and proceeded to wtfpwn!

Copping 1st and 3rd. [X]-BryanMaster and [X]-DrlRage.

Tarma2k1 from Guadeloupe came 2nd.

As for winning that competition, you'll have to qualify at the national level first then we will send you up to Guadeloupe next year to represent.

There is another tekken tourney coming up at the National Stadium in November.

Who the hell are you? Anyway, I am not speculating. 99% of Bryan users do that exact strat. And it works. I am not saying the guy is cheap or anything, just Bryan's game revolves around something like that. I haven't seen the man fight, so I am just asking.  T5 is too unbalanced.

t5 cabinets abroad have ds2 ports. Trini arcade owners are bloody cheap, so they may put t5 on older cabinets, like in Trincity.

BTW, bryanmaster, do you know where sells benches that incline without the leg extension part? Pricesmart has some for 799, but that includes the leg thing.

If things was really bad... all you would be playing in the arcade is Pacman and Street Fighter 2. Do you think people love going out financially and buying original cabinets to please you, when you know the sequel come out you avoiding it like a plague.

2) The reason Bryan is top tier boss, is b/c of stuff like that. Reliable working strats. Note, I didn't come in here bashing anybody. Check his frame data.

3) I was asking a question. Yes or no are the only responses that are needed. You were the one who started the cranium business. Besides, from what I see in Trincity when I go there, people want to play t5, but b/c of the crappy sticks, time limit, damage setting, no skipping replays,etc., they go to play ttt. The owners will make much more money with better quality machines.

DRL is right. We have to face that reality, a quality arcade setup just costs too much money.

If there were thousands of arcade gamers plunking in tokens then yes, it would make sense to get a mint condition tekken 5 cabinet.

As it stands, the owner will spend a ton of money to acquire that and only please a handful of arcade diehards that are still on the scene. Not enough to even make back his money during the life of the game.

Doesn't make sense.

Better instead to run PS2s and TVs. Get joysticks hooked up to that if need be.

Especially for the competitive scene.

And no, doh be on BryanMaster case eh. The man can play with every mc tekken character. Not just Bryan Fury.
