I'm askin this not to start a war, just to get some feedback

Basically i see corruption in both parties, whoever doesn't acknowledge that there is corruption on both sides i believe is purposefully closing their eyes and shutting the obvious signs out. In my opinion, there issue at hand seems to be how blatantly the thievery and corruption was displayed by both parties. Now, with regard to the overall growth of the economy and the so-called 20-20 vision statement expressed by existing and previous parties, do ya'll think that the existing budget and decisions made for the country are truly taking these views into consideration? we have listened while promises are put forth by both parties for change, etc etc etc and we still see the country standing still, does anyone have any ideas how we can, or what we can do to start the change? we need someone with TRUE management skills in the country, beacuse the country is like a like business, it operates the same way. I close for now to entertain comments, views and suggestions offered by any individual so inclined.

hmn........this is a tuffy.......i have to go with PNM with the governing i mean it have corruption true but, as the saying goes "yuh can't miss what yuh never had" ...as in the "airport scandal" with the previous party

It's a really tough question but the UNC seemed to have the most high profile corruption cases during their stint.

Maybe Kayode could give us in bulletin form, the major cases of corruption for both parties, being a journalist, he may know 'em off his head.

funnily enough both and neither. as manning said before they lost way back the country could coast for years to come. its so true. the fact is trinidad has been growing at an alarming rate for such a small country. we making litterally billions. any government would look good at this particular point in time. simply cause it have real money in tnt. thas why it have so much corruption within both governements. they all know the money filling like a well. no matter how much yuh dip out it filling back up. the real pressure comes when we have to deal with stagnation then we go know who have the better metal.

On the one hand the PNM spendin money so rapidly and on inconsequential matters that they probably will end up depleting the treasury and put the country in dept.

However with the UNC government they were apparently saving the money but noy spending it at all, which is even worse because no one profits. Also the widespread corruption that was takin place in parliament while the UNC government was in power jus shows that the party was jus robbin the country blind. I think that this is totally unjustifiabe that the very ppl we put there to take care of us would treat us that way.
(in any developed(1st world country) almost the entire UNC party would be in jail on corruption charges and possibly even treason)
