We are getting the 128k up...

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

TSTT doubles speed of residential High-speed Internet access for free

Trinidad -
Residential users of TSTT’s High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) service are now able to browse the web at twice the speed of their regular 128 kilobits (k) per second connection, at no additional cost to them.

TSTT’s Market Development Manager Brian Clark explains that the company increased all residential 128k connections to 256k and customers can immediately get connected to begin experiencing the faster speed of the service. Clark says there is no need for customers to re-register or do anything with their account, “Just log on and enjoy”.

The additional bandwidth of the 256k service is free for customers since this new faster service is priced at the same cost of their previous 128k High Speed Internet package. Clark says customers will continue to be charged at this existing rate and assured that it was not a temporary price promotion.

256K!

They'll be offering the 128k at a reduced cost from what I've heard. Apparently at the same cost as the current dial-up unlimited.

By the way...when does the 256K kick in? I don't have it yet.

You have to give them time, it's tstt after all.
If you don't get it by next week then bug them.

My upgrade came in on the 6th. Disconnected, reconnected 256k immc.

People who aint have it yet. TSTT doing high priority areas first so maybe u don't live in one from the way they look at things. lol j/k

anyway even though i have 256k now i still want more. Only speeds in the amount of 3mb+ can satisfy me although i still grateful for the 256k since if ALOT better than 128k.

What i'm gonna do is call and ask them if i can sign a contract stating that I'm suppose to have 256k/64k because they can use it against me later and cap me back cuz my contract does state i'm suppose to have 128k/64k.

Your current bandwidth reading is:

264.10kbps

which means you can download at 33.01 KB/sec. from our servers.

 I have it.
