I certainly hope that there is adequate security, because Tournaments = Thieves. No disputing that.
But i am confident in the ability of SPK to organize and the grande K9 security squad for the safety of the participants.

Well Smurf....tournaments = thieves...in normal cases.
In cases where they have to verify with me before attendance, chances of them getting in are very slim to say the least...and even spectators are being kept to a bare minimum if any!

Give me a PM with a contact number for u by this evening, I will hook ya up.

SPK,did u get through with odion and them.I hope you get in contact with them,if i was home i would have helped you but I can't even come home to help you with some duelist (cream of the crop) but I am not in a good situation to come home this school scene holding me but if you want i can give you some contact numbers if you want.I don't have all of the nos here but they should know some good duelist in the advance format.
They may not be up to our standards but they can make it at least to the third round.Well if you want the numbers.Tell me on msn and well take cares ppl,and again good luck to all of the duelists entering this tourney.Peace out.

Well the tournament has concluded, with a rather small turnout (16 duelists
).
The final rankings were as follows:
1st: Sean Alexander (Chaotic)
2nd: Daniel Ballantyne (Chicken N Beer)
3rd: Gemmon Lee Tung
4th: David Smith (Odion)
Special Prize Winner: Gemmon Lee Tung - 7800 LP damage in 1 turn.

Congratulations to all the winners
And well done to SPK for a great job hosting the tournament.
I must ask though, is this Gammon Lee Tung new on the scene?

.

Don't you fear none, ArkAngel.
I'm seeking to organise something myself.
Trouble is, though, funds and time are two things that are getting pretty hard to come by these days.
However, I'll be sure to let you guys know if I've got anything definite planned.
Some afterthoughts of the tournament:
1. It was such a shame that I didn't do as well as I thought I would. I was eliminated by Odion in our duel, the key plays being his Tribe Infecting Virus on the field, and his Drop Off launching my only defense- Morphing Jar #2 to the Shadow Realm.
Ah, well. Better luck next time fer me, and congrats to David for doing so well in the tournament.
2. Clearly, the most exciting match in the tournament was the battle for 3rd between Odion and Gemmon. Talks throughout that whole duel left, right and center. In the end, Gemmon won, but Odion never once lost confidence in himself, and neither did Gemmon, even with the distractions.
Now THAT's what I call entertainment.
Congrats to both for doing so well, and to Gemmon for doing us World Plus warhorses proud.
3. And, of course, congrats go out to Balki and Daniel (ChickenNBeer), as always, for making it to the finals and giving us a dueling experience we'd not soon forget. Not only were the prizes on the line, but both duelists decided to up the ante by putting their Chaos Emperor Dragon cards up for grabs as well. In the end, Balki won, but Daniel didn't go down without a fight, that's for sure.
Well, despite my early K.O., I must say, this tournament has been a blast. I'm looking forward to the next one, and this time, the gloves are OFF. Because I'm positive by the time the next one rolls around, those loveable characters, the Toons, will be back in my deck, and chomping on some LP ala mode as they've done in the past. It's time to bid farewell to the Jars of Chaos, until they are needed once again.
Well, guys, that's all I've got to say.
Good duels, everybody, and until next time.
