I was very much frustrated on sunday though after C & B lost his Yata and lost 2 times to Johnathan in that tournament only to come and beat him in the finals. I'll put out more info when i get more time, but for now laters fellas. crazy we'll talk soon.

There was no 3rd place playoff  for this tournament....because there was no 3rd place prize.  :(  At least I made it to the top 4 again.  ;)

I only played one match in the Advanced....if I didn't have to leave I think the Gravekeeper's could have made it to the top 4.  [_[

Hah, lol extremely loud at sabrewolf's comment. Hoss, what u need to understand is that everyone knows that you're extremely good, hell i'll even admit it, and you are probably the best cause you have the potential, BUT you are not. As soon as you realize that you're not the best, that there are still people like me and c & B and MAYBE a few others who can beat you, then maybe you'll win alot more often. Hoss, u are NOT the best, believe me and i will do it again whenever i want to. hoss, look at what happen in the ban list tournament on saturday evening. You didn't stand a chance against me, Horus level 6 beaT u up the whole first round. Hoss, in my book, without them cards that on the ban list, we really know who better between me and you, and you can deny it all you want. I know i throw together some cards saturday evening normal, normal, and beat the yellow off of you, after you boast to the legionnairres about your unbeatable ban list deck. Unbeatable, ha, you couldn't even beat me a round in that tournament. To me that duel was a joke. I am better than you and if you ask most of the people at any tournament you'll get the same answer. What i trying to do now is be remembered, I haD the guts to enter anime and beat a man with gate gaurdian, I pull out Perfectly ultimate great moth, and why do i do these things, because i know i can win tournaments already. Why don't you try doing something no one has ever done before and maybe then you could class yourself in my catagory. You're good, i'll admit it, you are, but i'm better, and in my eyes, by far, but i'm not the best. i'll leave that for everyone else to judge.

P.S.- No-one is d best, just remember no matter how good u r there is always some1 out there who can beat u.

*salutes @ Chaotic's post*

That is spoken like someone who knows that there's more to it than winning :).

The fact of innovation, is why ppl like Chaotic, as well as a few others (e.g. Derek), always have my respect no matter what!

Well, I managed to eke out a third place in the Aranguez tournament....very nice, considering that I haven't ranked that high in a tournament since the one staged months ago by PapaSmurf. Made off with two packs....and got crap, but say what.

Audience: What?

-_-;;
One thing that got be a bit ticked, though, was their last minute change from Advanced to Traditional, without even doing as much as giving people adequate notice. Good thing I had my banned cards with me, though, but still.

And yes, Chaotic....the fact that ChickenNBeer's Yata got stolen depresses the hell out of me, too. That is why we have to come together and organise an invite-only tournament.
To tell you the truth, every single damn time I come to a tourney, I always see one character that I would never trust, even if my life depended on it. And a couple of those fellas in the Aranguez tournament...damn, have they even heard of SOAP?! I mean, Jesus....one of them came dressed in the SAME DAMN CLOTHES that he wore the day before in the St. Mary's tournament! Geez!

(ahem)
But, enough about that.
What's done is done, and I'm looking forward to the next tournament, and hopefully, THIS one would go off without a hitch.

I am 100% in support of that "Invite-Only" tournament idea.  A locator-card type system might be feasable (and fun) in this instance.

We need more 'small' tournaments......but not on the same weekend please!!

1. I must not type in ALL CAPS.
2. I must not put down other duelists, regardless of my skill in this game.
3. I must remember next time, to READ THE RULES so I don't make a gonad of myself on the forums.

Seriously though....will we be able to organise an "invite only" this year (December) or do you guys want to try for Easter 2005?

December for sure. Easter will be too far.

I like the idea of a best of the best tournament. An invite send to your house in the mail, giving you the location and time and telling you not to tell anyone. Something anonymous. Really cool, I might get the chance to duel against people like smurf and crazy. Crazy, we ain't duel in like forever hoss. I don't think we've ever even had a real duel. We'll fix that soon, besides i have something for you for ETC still, i haven't forgotten, come Anime and get it saturday. You can buy tickets outside from someone.

To host an invitation-only tourney would be simple, as it can be held even in a house, cuz it's not like u inviting everybody to come, only a select few...throw in some barbeque and snacks and is a lime! :)

I could do that @ my house, but I don't think allyuh would even come Grande for a tourney like that. I have the space though...

I could safely fit about 20 duelists, only thing i'd need to get are a couple of tables, and chairs...and that would be indoors mind u, but then I won't recommend dueling outside, breeze can be harsh at times...:P

And Computerman, if i coulda get directions, or even make to a certain point and then get dropped by u, I would take up ur offer sometime :).

Right now I just wanna see some tourneys being held outside of E/W corridor :P.

I don't mind. Actually, i'd prefer to go down to Computerman. Ohh Yeah, Chaos legion is on the verge of releasing their new duelists champions. Not seen by anyone else, not even in any tournament.
