All I can tell you so far is
RIP THRU WITH THE MARINES!!!
and to the road on the exit of the map
line up a mess load of bunkers filled with guys like right there and after your enemy's first strike empty them and rip  :P                      
I love Yu-Gi-Oh!

But Gatt didn\'t help I\'ll be watching from above

i dont think that will always work cuz if your oppenent is also terran he can make tanks and kill bunkers easily...best is a marine and doctor rush i saw it and tested it.. it works but with that u have to aim for refinery first :P..its one of the best strats i know

tank push is de greatest i think. put some marines infront, tanks in siege behind and push to enemy base :)

de tank and marine push is a real good strat but if ur opponent usin protoss and the build carriers the tanks don't stand a chance

There are somethings that must be made clear.

1.  Rampage, your sig is friggin top tier man!!!!!!!!!!

2.  The strat is called mnms neo.  LMAO @ doctors

3.  The tank push is good because the marines can attack air units which makes carriers pretty much dead.  But then again, few would use a tank push in late game situations where the Protoss get a can get their capital ships going.  By that time, you're supposed to have ghosts with lock down, or science vessels with emp which pretty much spells disaster for Carriers.

wah kinda jokey ass carriers is that?

lol

carriers are the kings of the skies , they have massive range, way more than marines.

Marines in bunkers stand a better chance against carriers, but on their own, they are simply cannon fodder.

Goliaths are  probably best anti air defense in the game, and quite an annoyance to carriers.

Carriers have a very powerful run an gun technique involving attack and retreat. renders marines pretty useless.

That's all well and good but do you or anyone else have like an official race strategy? :ph34r:

Seriously speaking.  Carriers can be rendered useless by simple things as marines.  All you need are about 8 for the least.  The trick is to attack the carrier itself and not the interceptors.  You'll see how fast they get blown out the sky.  If the marines have any upgrades (armor, weapons, Stim) even better for you.  If you stick in 3 to 4 medics, carriers are dead.  Unless that's all you have against maybe say 3 carriers.

That's why spell casters are important anyway.

And yes, Goliaths have the best AA defense in the game.  With the addition of the Charon Booster upgrade in BW, you get in a few solid shots before the opposition starts hammering you.

So far as strats go they are broken down like this.

Early rushes.  This is to see what they have.

Strategic Rushes  This is to cripple what they have

Drops

Annihilation  Total friggin rapism.

I'm sure we're all familiar with Annihilation.  Some zerg dood runs up in your base with like 20 something hydras in under 8 minutes.  It's happened to me before.

Drops involve an air transport unit carrying cargo that is geared towards creating an opening of some kind.  Usually to the enemies peon lines to cripple his resource harvesting.  This includes things like the Lurker drop, the marine drop, the reaver drop, the dt drop, the Ghost/Nuke drop(late game strat)

There are also tactics like offensive cannons.  Damn do those things offend.  And offensive bunkers/sunkens.  Each take their own amount of work.

If its one pc game I know my stuff in its this.  I just suck coz I don't know any good build orders.  I usually screw myself up in the decision to either mine gas or to spend minerals on maintaining a rush.  I get caught between the two and I lose.

Intel intel intel....

Know what ur enemy is doing.. Terran has the hugest advantage here...Comsat.  Being the most balanced race...With proper intel, u'll NEVER lose to a protoss unless they're like a GOSU.

A protoss has not defeated my terran in like 3 years

Protoss MUST upgrade to higher tech levels to stand even a fighting chance.
Spy on them...Know what they do, and create the units to destroy.

Early, firebats marines and a couple tanks usually spells the end to the average protoss opponent.

A average opponent would try templars early.  INTEL INTEL INTEL.

An advanced one will attempt the devastating reaver drop...(one of the more difficult manouvers to defend).  (but defendable)

..and if any terran allow a toss to reach 4 or more carriers, You deserve to loss  :lol:

Terran vs Zerg.....(Zerg doh stand a chance against a good terran player PERIOD !

There is a counter for EVERY ZERG move.  And marines / medics vs Hydras -  marines win !!

whey@3yrs. you sound like a serious player boy. but you hadda play dest , leh we see if all de talk you have would stand on de battlefield :) we appreciate de tips from you though, but i would like you to play dest or something

Now hydras are really cool in mass. I'll acknowledge that.  But like i said, if i see you building hydras, when you reach me with 25, u'll run into 20marines, 5 medics and two siege tanks.....talk about SPLASH damage...

Nah...use to play on battlenet when SC was 1.08. Long time ago. I'd love to play a GATTer, but i only run into a bunch of immature a**holes who vent their teenage frustations on the server.  Someday....
