I'm not sure what it is--maybe it's the slow and painful death of the
American arcade scene, or maybe I just don't get out enough--but I don't
feel the excitement around new fighting games the way I used to. So it
really warms my heart to hear that people were really hyped to play
Tekken 5 when Namco wheeled out a 50 percent-complete arcade version at
the recent Evolution fighting game tournament in California. Our man on
the inside, Stephen Kleckner, was there to provide you with a boatload
of new details and some hands-on impressions of the latest in one of the
most popular 3D fighting series around. Although it's not yet announced
for the PlayStation 2, you know it'll be coming home sooner or later. So
