smarty, the lcd screen is just a bonus.

The laptop is a portable computer....the integrated keyboard, mouse and
screen are just that, integrated and do not prevent you from using the
standard issue external counterparts. Marrying the laptop with my high
end Logitech MX 500 and Logitech Keyboard + 17" monitor or EuroTV (when
I really wanna show off!!) make for the perfect gaming setup.
No one is forcing you to play quake with a touch pad (eeeeww @ the
thought)
That said, having spent some serious time with this beast, it has proven
invaluable. This is a point that should hit home with you Synth.
Watching Yuske Yuremeshi slaughter Toguru in the Yu Yu Hakusho anime
while waiting by licensing office to transfer a car and renew my
license. Priceless
The perfect portable entertainment centre.
It's only gonna get better when EDGE GPRS and bluetooth phones become
common place. Wireless is just too convenient.

You do realise gaming is severely limited by the LCD screen (inherant
weaknesses in ALL LCD Tech)...and the fact they dont come with built in
"console type" controller...
Why the heck they didnt include something like a gameboy etc gaming
button layout as well?
I mean really, gaming?
Any serious gamer would need a real optical mouse and keyboard (I hate
those puny laptop keyboards! and dont get me started on that thing they
call a "mouse"!)
Lets stick to what they were initially designed for please!
