Should americans translate anime?

Should americans bring the official franchises over to the west at all?
I think the japanese companies should handle it themselves in my opinion because the yanks always manage to screw it up.
I was watching an old series dragonball the other day on toonami and boy did they screw that one over. I'm wondering if they bring naruto over how much they are gonna ruin that. Naruto is more plot driven as is alot of anime yet i betcha they will butcher it so it has more action scenes involved. They did that to Gatchaman with Battle of the planets or Gforce
as it's called in trini and it's lost all the tension of the original.

It's no wonder why a lot of japanese think the west is backward. These
yanks are giving allwe a bad name with watered down shows.

if it doesn't meet the standards of american censors and "political correctness" it would get on national tv in america

that might set the industry back a bit and make it harder to get your anime

so you might have to get it in japanese anyway

so let us leave things as it is

before the economics mess it up

i studin if it will take out de....what should i say... Umph of the japenese.... For Sexy no jutso they;ll probably put Pretty no jutsu. When the Americans translate they just take out the real passion in the words the voice overs are saying. Ill prefer to read my subtitles thank you!!!...
