De works.

Plenty action. That fight scene between Hector and Achilles was a top
ranker. Never thought old-school non-martial arts swordfighting could look
that good.

Good acting, good story, decent enough music, although it seemed kinda
inappropriate at points. Best tune was when Achilles and his cousin were
fighting near the beginning.

It just win overall. If we get 2 better movies than that for the year we doh
deserve it. :P

I have my eyes on Spider-Man 2 and Chronicles of Riddick. The first is
assured enjoyment, just a mtter of how much, and the latter looks like it
could go either way. (surprisingly good or surprisingly bad)

It lookin so.

The first trailer, where they only show weather and disaster was WAYYYY!!

Second trailer, where they introduce unnecessary stuff like characters and
story was meh.

yes indeed

good action, kick ass signature move by Achilles, (nice how Hector blocked
it about 2 times)
nuff "man's man" heroes. (ajax, achilles, menalaus, hector)
1 wimp (paris)

only downsides was a weak, insignificant helen, a phyiscally challenged
agamemnon and
overthetop comeback by paris...who should have suffered the fate of cold
steel by a helmet man of the greek army.

Of course, this opens the door for the kickass sequel...

The Odyssey.  See man spend years trying to reach home.

See man share nuff licks on the hornermen in the final battle scene.

BTW, who played Odysseus?

SEAN BEAN!!

Boromir iwmc!!

And he played it very well too! I was real surprised at how true they kept
to his trickery, wisdom and good nature.

Seriously...Odysseus was an unexpected bonus in the film, even though he
hardly fight.

De man was blatantly wutless...his army was among the last to reach, and he
tellin Achilles how he doh care if he miss the fight, once he could say he
was there.

Kinda like me in some of my classes. And work.

Of course, this opens the door for the kickass sequel...

The Odyssey.  See man spend years trying to reach home.

See man share nuff licks on the hornermen in the final battle scene.

BTW, who played Odysseus?

yes indeed

good action, kick ass signature move by Achilles, (nice how Hector blocked
it about 2 times)
nuff "man's man" heroes. (ajax, achilles, menalaus, hector)
1 wimp (paris)

only downsides was a weak, insignificant helen, a phyiscally challenged
agamemnon and
overthetop comeback by paris...who should have suffered the fate of cold
steel by a helmet man of the greek army.
