I mean, could you imagine a solo batman film in 2022 with a 50 year old affleck looking like stallone (not saying he will look that bad, but people age yuh knw)? And unlike downey, who can be an old iron man, this is a physically taxing role. Wonder how long affleck will be able to keep up.Other than that, I am very pumped that they did choose this route. No origin story, just a well established, seasoned batman ready to kick ass.
