I don't think its a similar case as with Live. The system is region locked and this line

Xbox One games are for activation and distribution only in specified geographic regions

Well a vpn may be able to bypass it but how much ppl going to do that. I think its going to be a case where no one down here will sell the xbox one.

Well it have games on steam that US only eh, but once u get yuh steam code and enter it, that does wok anywhere. (Dirt 3 is one)

Aye, if microsoft dont change they tune, and change these policies before launch.

I personally want them to fail hard!

Because the arrogance and the outright disregard to consumers is beyond appauling, it have some things i can stomach in the interest of technological advancement and enhanced features. but this crap is downright outrageous. If this dont change, i want ps4 to grind dem into the ground. Then let MS use all that money they have to do it right after they recover from their wounds.

Technically, you can...if you use a PC with two network adapters, and run a VPN on the PC. The Xbox would be connected to one adapter, and your network to the other.

I used to do this with my PS2 way back to play SOCOM online.

It worked for downloading content from Xbox Live that wasn't directly available because of geographical restrictions, but to play MP...not that great.

I still can't believe what I'm reading.
Somebody hadda take one for the team to see if it really works come November yes.

500 US is not a easy piece of coin to part with on a hunch nah.

Looks like I will be playing Titan Fall on PC and Xeno Blade 2 on Wii U come 2014

Also, in all the xbox one vs ps4 fiasco, I forgot to mention this insane stealth mechanic being touted in the new Metal Gear.

Someone needs to be slapped with a trout for promoting this as ground breaking.
