As i told some of my clan mates who also were loling at the situation i said if ur gettin the PS+ ver chances are u are a dedicated online player AND keep PS+ anyway so u actually gettin the game $10 cheaper than retail blu ray......WHAT IS THE PROBLEM? oh its tied to ur PS+ sub.......umm arent u keeping PS+ anyway? again whats the problem? if u arent keeping PS+ or arent an online player then WHY in zeus' name are u looking to get the PS+ ver anyway?

My PS4 is useless without PS+ cuz i play online, sp is throw way ting when u beat it no replay value. So alot of ppl already gonna have to keep PS+ anyway so ppl gonna complain about a $10 discount when ur already gonna be renewing ur sub

Gamers these days smfh, complaining about all the wrong shit while devs like DICE have a track record for years of releasing broken shit and ppl STILL buying their games on release every time like then have to wait half a year again for it to be "fixed" but complain bout dis.

PS: Driveclub SUPPOSE to be played online in the 1st place, its marketed as a socially connected racer. If u plan to play offline in d 1st place why even bother with PS+ ver? /rant

I think they are setting a dangerous precedent here. Previously when you purchased a title on ps plus you owned it regardless of whether you kept your ps plus subscription. If this is a new trend for ps plus it will be a concern.

Also drive club has an offline component which some may want to play if their ps plus subscription expires.

the important thing with this is you have a choice. and for me 95% of the games i play gonna be online games anyway. cod without ps+ is useless too just like battlefield etc. if i buying this its gonna be the ps+ version

but this game will really have to impress me to get my money anyway

Well I have PS+...and I already decided that this title is a 'must get', so I don't get what all the beatup is about if you can also get the disc version for 10 US more.

The key thing here is CHOICE.
You can get the digital version, or the disc version you can sell later...and that is ON TOP of the fact that you can 'try' a substantial portion of the game BEFORE yuh spend any additional money...

What's the problem again?

LOL if men playing Driveclub offline
kinda missing the whole point of the game
Project cars would be the more common sense option if men just want a pure racer
the whole selling point of driveclub is online.

Titanfall being an online only shooter on xbox platforms is useless without xbox live. U will own the game but u can't play it if your subscription lapses. Lol nobody Went crazy about that.
