What all the reviews of that game seem to be saying is, it pretty, and not much else.

I now finish watch Sessler video review, he give it ah 3.
He rel rate up the graphics though, but that was about all he rate up.

Pretty alone not going to cut it nah, killzone titles were always pretty, but seem to be lacking that spark to make it truly great (cough, crysis, cough), This new killzone seem to take a step in the right direction, but what d franchise really need is ah leap.

But if u do have a PS4 at launch, what else yUh go do, yUh hada buy killzone.

Killzone 2 and 3 begs to differ with you.

The franchise was always rewarding for gamers willing to look past the Battlefields, the Halos, and the CODs.
You either liked it, or you don't.  The mistake reviewers always made (even if they didn't explicitly say it) was to compare it to those aforementioned games.
I too was skeptical of the franchise, until I decided to jump in with Killzone 2.  I was instantly blown away by its production values, presentation, voice work, and of course I played the s#1t out of the multiplayer.   Killzone 3 just upped the ante on all that awesome.

For Playstation fans, Killzone is one of those franchises that you buy the console for...despite what reviewers say.
Sessler in particular has this thing about 'games as a medium' which essentially means that if a game doesn't measure up to his 'lofty' standards of expression and representation, then it should be consigned to the doldrums of mediocrity.
Of course, I do not agree with his assertions, because I found Bioshock Infinite (a game he lauded...highly) to be utter goat-smegma.

What I miss out on is infamous, never play any, and that is game I go play, but just have no time for, u feel I give 2 hoots bout killzone? Nope! Lololol. Some people have to pick and choose what games to play based on limited time, and rely on said reviews to help make the decision as to what to play and what not to play, and based on reviews, I ain't wasting my time on killzone, and I know sometimes reviews can rate down a game I personally would find good, but I tend to recognize those games based on watching extended coverage and gameplay, and decide if it worth trying myself. Its why I watch almost every video made available for killzone today, and I still find it looking like mess. So u can keep your gem lolol.

I'll at some point play the infamous series though, hopefully.

Rofl, dude, first to begin with, I never own a Xbox, I'm a PlayStation gamer, I had ps1, ps2, and ps3. Rofl.
Don't talk what u ain't know. I never own ah Xbox cause d exclusive wasn't worth it, everybody know Sony had the better exclusives, jak and Daxter FTW

The point of the Xbox one for me, is Killer Instinct, and Media.
Halo and Gears is bonuses, but I bought d console for killer instinct, if that wasn't available at launch, I wouldn't be buying it at launch. When ps4 get god of war and uncharted, I go jump in.

But I does purposely bring up Sony balls, because of how man like to cuss MS. And ignore the bullshit of everybody else. MS is the internet's whipping boy lllolol. Don't mean I don't like ps games, is killzone I don't like.

A single game does always drive me to buy a console. There are games so good, I will buy a console solely for that. But obviously there will be other good games too, just not worth buying it for. System sellers yUh call it.

Zelda is such a game for me. I love Nintendo, but have not bought a Wii u. The day the new Zelda release for it, is instant buy, just for that one game, and of corse ill play d other good ones too.

Killer Instinct is that title for me on Xbox. When I see that game, in my brain d money for d console was already gone from my bank account. So yes, ill pay 500$ for killer instinct. But then there are other things to justify the purchase. I love gears, I freak d hell out of that on pc, was vex when ms made future gears exclusive to Xbox. Now I go get back access to that franchise. As well as halo (again, halo 1 was pc first, then went Xbox exclusive) both of those games by themselves wasn't enough to get me on Xbox, but killer instinct single handedly was. Gg no re.

Also, I aim to replace my living room htpc with the Xbox, so it will serve other functions as well.

And no, is not bashing PlayStation cause everybody hate ms. I does call shit when I see it, regardless of who it is. When ms do shit, I call Dem out on it d same way. But yUh dare nit talk bout android or PlayStation on GATT lol. Pitchforks and torches rofl.

What I gleaned from most of the reviews is 'pretty graphics...not-so-great story...good  multiplayer'.

Of course, the 'not-so-great story' opinions are HIGHLY subjective.
One reviewer says the game is 'mired in story and gameplay tropes'.  Really?  What game (especially a sequel) isn't?
That same reviewer says 'you shouldn't play it'.   Seriously!? ....

Yet COD gets a higher score for them same 'gameplay tropes'...doing the SAAAAAME things all over again.

Bravo gaming press...again.

What those reviews say (to me at least), just like all the past Killzone reviews is that franchise fans will want/like/appreciate it, and everyone else should just buy COD and Halo.
Me...?  I'm perfectly OK with that.

I already point out I only have time for the truly great games out there, 8.5 is d lowest ill stoop. But is only 9.0 and above I does really deal up in, unless gameplay footage good enough to compel me to try it regardless.

In this case I happen to agree with the reviewers, it may be a good game overall, but nothing special, nothing epic. And that's all I interested in. When the 9.8 Uncharted 4 come out, yea I they, 8.0? Steups. Waste of my time. (and d rest of d launch lineup is wuss scores.) is not me rate them, don't shoot d messenger
