Also IMO neither platform will be at a disadvantage since its not a FPS and not twitch gameplay console peeps who concerned about kb/m wont have to much to worry. Just like WoTs seems positioning, map knowledge and strats are keys to winning any battle.

Brazil is getting official PS4 support, but the console is going for quite a pretty penny in the country...


The PlayStation 4's lower price point is certainly a motivation for gamers to opt for this console over the Xbox One. 

Unfortunately, this rationale only works out for American and European gamers. South American gamers are getting a little bit screwed out of the whole deal.

Back in September, it was revealed that the PS4 was going to cost 6,500 Pesos (roughly $1100 USD) in Argentina. Now, Sony's announced the cost of the PS4 in Brazil and it's somehow an even bigger figure. Brazilians will have to pay 3,999 Brazilian Real, which is the equivalent of $1850 USD. 

The increased costs are due to import fees, taxes, and the simple fact that there's a smaller consumer base in South America. 

In any case, it might be cheaper for Brazilian gamers to fly to the United States, buy a PS4, and then fly back.

PlayStation 4 Facts:


PS4 owners can replace the PS4's 500GB hard drive, a 5400 RPM SATA II hard drive, as long as it complies with the PS4's standards for hard drives, is no thicker than 9.5mm, and is larger than 160GB

the PS4 will not support external hard drives, so none of your content can be played there

Unlike the PS3, the PS4 will not support media servers or DLNA functionality, so no streaming from PC.

No MP3 playback, all music need to be purchased from Sony unlimited

Mandatory game installs, But you still need the disc in to play it after install

That is why I don't get console period. PC FTW.
I bought the PS3 almost to the end of it's lifecycle, (for mortal combat) and the other good exclusives that been released over the years. And I sure the whole of GATT know by now my sole reason for buying a console at launch, specifically the xbone, is for Killer Instinct. If wasn't for that 1 title, id say screw them both, PC for the win. I hate exclusivity, bring everything PC I say.

None of those features matter to me because I never used them but they do matter to a lot of people and it is very very stupid to remove dlna.

I firmly believe just like MS reversing a lot of their decisions this will be reversed at some point
