Black ops 2 ps3/xbox 360 vs Wii U

Not looking good for the Wii U if it playing worse than the PS3 and 360 at times, granted it is not optimised like the other two would be but a new console should have enough power still to beat a six year old console.

Please regard the following as just my personal experience and opinion to date, as with all things milleage will vary:

I have to say, as someone who as played and owned EVERY call of duty game for the Xbox and played every COD every made (save the Nintendo versions) I am at a loss for why this last entry has been for me the most frustrating and least fun. Even with all the problems that have plagued the last 2 episodes of the franchise like (to date) failed matchmaking for us Trinis, LAG (the ever present killer of win), try hards (which have apparently multiplied in this game) and server problems (crashes, poor host selection, poor Elite service) COD HAD remained that one and only core jump in, have fun, go sleep game that WAS a constant (at least on xbox).
However this time around something is different... I'm not yet sure what it is, but the ever present LAG seems more pronounced as men spin around and kill you after 10 hit markets to THEIR HEAD, or the poor match selection like have an ENTIRE team of men on 3 bars and the ENTIRE other team has 4 (when its a game of 5-6 RANDOMS on my team... really? not even 1 man on 4 bars on our team???).
Or maybe its the inclination towards SPRAY AND PRAY? you a fan of running around like Bolt on crack running down a hash brownie? it seems this game rewards these types (yes more than in the previous games). Or maybe its the campers on 4 bars host connection that see it fit to extend your game in domination against 3 men on 2 bars that's sporting... whatever the reason (which may just may the sum of all its parts) I really, REALLY, REALLY honestly, genuinely dislike this game!
I will continue to give it another chance (providing an anaerism doesn't stop me first) and will go through the campaign and zombies in HOPE it will be the saving grace, sadly though with all the problems this game got me to GET (I was sold the SPANISH VERSION the day after launch) and the trauma that is the MP experience I am sad to say I CAN'T recommend this game to anyone yet.

PS this is NOT an endorsement to any alternative *cough Battlefail* as there simply isn't any other viable war FPS shooter on the CONSOLE. The one alternative I can say is HALO 4 which has been nothing short of brilliant, but its physics and style isn't for everyone and as such is not a apples to apples alternative.

@win, What I meant is that Mouie is making a case for Wii U's fidelty in the graphics department.

Whereas you made a post basically reviewing BlackOps2 on xbox.

The experience on the Wii U, from a gameplay and overall experience will not be as good as the 360 as it is the base platform. The graphics quill be on point, but my rant had to do with the overall experience, which its very applicable to any and all the cod blops 2

For the anxious nintendo fans who had longed for the return of AAA titles, the Wii U is definitely what they've been waiting for. The graphics still keeps pace with if not surpass the current gen consoles from the competition. Cod blops2 will give them a good dose of return to the world of fps that's been missed in the past few years. Cod in any console however imho is broken

A worthy successor for Nintendo.

I'm sold just to see my Mario, Metroid and Zelda games in 1080p. 1st party ftw.

PC will remain my first choice for shooters so long as the title is available there.

Except its actually running worse than these old 6 year old consoles. Looking at Digital Foundry its the same for both Mass Effect 3 and Batman Arkham City. It seems anytime there is a lot of stuff happening onscreen the slower wii cpu is really apparent.

Now obviously programmers are now learning the system and will find ways to best program for the Wii U's architechture but it isn't good if a new system doesn't have enough raw horsepower to beat these old consoles even if the game is not optimized for it.

Wii U cannot handle opacity and translucent FX well. Alternatives have to be used to mask the effect. The framerate drops below acceptable levels
