GPU upgrade time.


Its 2 x [Sapphire] Radeon HD 6950   

Looks like this...




These cards are the version with two BIOSes.
There's the 'normal' BIOS, and then there's the 'unlocked' BIOS which sports the increased shader count. 
In this mode, only a slight tweak of the voltage allows you to OC them to 6970 speeds.
No re-flashing necessary.


Enough about that though.
Cards were purchased in December 2011, and run at overclocked settings using Catalyst
since then.  Aggressive fan profiles were used to ensure no overheating...ever.

Of course you get the cards..in their original boxes.


Asking price: $1100 each.  $1800 for the pair.
