x-box suggestion

since i am about to get an x-box i wanted to know what are some very good 2 player games actionadventure preferably ...and what is a good controller to get ..should i get the original or something else.....i was looking at this AIRFLO EX XBOX CONTROLLER it looks good does anyone have this controller and is it good?

Fuss ting the Nyko Airflo (if thats the same one you talkin bout) is a waste of time. Actually i highly recommend that you do not buy any 3rd party controlers for any console. They are not as good and break too easily, i dont care what anyone says, first hand experience with Madcatz, Nyko,Iomega(or Omega or Image *dem ting wiht the I on it*), Pelican....ALL of them mashup fast . If you must get extra controlers get the original. If you HAVE to get third party for XBOX or PS2 get the Logitech cordelss, its the next best. If you must get for GCN, dont.

Secondly all the new XBOX's come with the Type - S controler, the smaller one. The big controler comes with the older ones. THe big controler i liked at first but when i got used to the S i never went back. However some ppl prefer the big one anyway....daz all cool.

Thirdly. You modding the XBOX or not? Whichever way is cool. you picked a good console for action and shooters.

Oho if you want i can get the new HALO Limited edition XBOX for you for 2 grand. Its the transparent green XBOX doubled with HALO.

Now for action adventure games SOME have multiplayer.

1. 007 Everything or Nothing. (3rd person shooter)
2. Hunter the Reckoning Redeemer (action hack/slash)
3. Baldurs Gate 1 and 2 (Diablo style hack/slash)
4. Metal Arms Glitch in the System (3rd person shooter)
5. Armed and Dangerous (3rd person shooter)
6. Brute Force (3rd person shooter w some tactics - more arcade style)
7. Buffy the Vampire Slayer (FIRST ONE - XBOX only, second is not as good)
8. Crimson Skies (Flying shooter, what Star Fox should be)
9. Dead To Rights (3rd person shooter, kinda like a Max Payne)
10. Max Payne 1 and 2
11. Genma Onimusha
12. The Suffering (GREAT 3rd person or 1st person *you can switch* surviva horror action)
13. Freedom Fighters (3rd person shooter, a must have)
14. HALO (duh)
15. Kill Switch (3rd person action)
16. Ninja Gaiden (very cork)
17. Otogi ( action adventure)
18. Silent Hill 2 ( i eh too sure if this falls in yuh category buh say what)
19. Star Wars Jedi Academy (3rd person action)
20. Sphynx adn the Cursed Mummy (eh, platformer with action adventure twist)
21. The THing (very boss game, 3rd person action adv)

Brute Force got mixed reviews yes. Its still very good imo though

007 EON is the best James bond game to date, actually better than Goldeneye, the multiplayer in this is phemominal

Fusion Frenzy, altho not action-adventure, is a pretty good multiplayer game. Mech Assault and RAW is war 1 or 2 are also good games to have in the multiplayer department. And of course lets not forget Pandora Tomorrow

umm ssx3 is cool , nfs underground also good, dead or alive is a good fighting and Deus Ex was cool single player only as well as star wars knights of the ond republic....soul  caliber 2 is another

yeah ssx 3 is great but i already have it for ps2 ...i am more interested in games the are exclusive to the x-box BTW

and shivadee i already ordered my x-box and thanks i think i'll get a original controller instead

BTW are there any games like contra but not the same contra from the ps2 and is there a dance mat that will work for the ps2 and x-box in one mat?

He has the adaptor that can allow the plugin of XBOX and PS2 controlers on either console. Now the DDR fan site says that the adaptor SHOULD work However XBOX has its own dancemat. I actually just ordered order DDR Ultramix from him for the XBOX. Apparently its one of the best versions and XBOX LIVE allows extra downloadable song as well as online play. Plus the game is 4 player.

Contra style game. Ive been lookin all over for them. SO far ive found these

1. Armed and Dangerous

yeah i know some of them are also on PS2. But now since yuh hava a choice of consoles the XBOX version of the game is always the better when it comes to cross platform. Honestly i doh like the new contra so much (Shattered Soldier), i doh know why they dont let you choose weapons during gameplay like before. Contra 3 is still my favorite. But there is the MAME emulator for the XBOX with games and you can get all the arcade shooters there including Contra in the arcade

There IS a new contra comming out for PS2, it lookin like real crap SO FAR, but dont quote me on that. From the trailer i see it lookin like a top view game (gyad)

PGR2 is the real deal dread. The car handling in that is spot on, no joke. Handles better than the cars in GT3 A-Spec. the only thing is that you cant tweak your car :(ATALL :?

Oh yea. The DOOM 3 is going to support campaign co-op........ONLINE TOO  :-)

LOL at x-box box......yeah i was looking at pgr2 and rallisport and  was tring to figure out which better for me....i dont know but pgr2 looking more like the cars that i would rather like to drive....so i am still deciding...but i have to collect the system when it come down .....but when it does i have to get star wars kotr ,ninja gaiden,one of the racing mentioned about and an original controller

There are 3 DOA3's out for XBOX. DOA3, DOA3 Classic and DOA3 XBOX Collection edition. The first was released in the US, the second in Japan ant the final in the UK

The other supposed DOA's to be out are

DOA Online
DOA Ultimate

My game review site im at sent pics for me from XBOX's press conference with pcs from the trailer for the DOA Ultimate. I dont know the details about the others yet, if they decided to make all of them into one game or something.

Yep that add has been shown for some time now. Actually the didnt update the Ninja Gaiden one until recently either. Gaiden had a release date for November, then for January and finally came out later than that. In the first month of 2004 youre still seeing a release date for November.

To add to that, they showed it a E3 to be released this year, so no, its deffinitely not out yet.
