And d one thing bout that ps plus deal, u cancel your subscription, u loose all d games.
If it expires you lose all the games. If you cancel renewal, you still get to play them up to your subscription end date.
BUT at the same time people are overlooking the value here.
It's the digital era. $50 for $260USD in games just for this month's content alone.
Then there's the free games for July, August, September etc..

Add up all you've gotten by then and you won't renew for another year?
Also, you could simply play through each game you get for a one year subscription and when your subscription expires, that's that. It friggin saved you a lot of money than if you bought every single one of those games and you get to play games you won't have ever bought otherwise.
Yes you never have outright "ownership" of the games through PlayStation Plus, but that's a simple thing that I have learnt to overlook.

IMO PlayStation Plus is one of the best if not best deal on consoles.

Access over Ownership. People are much more willing (it has been shown) to pay for content access i.e. cloud music, steam games etc than they are to pay to own. One 'ownership' has had its drawbacks (# of times you can install a disc etc) So people are more willing to pay for access over ownership esp now with games being so short (5 hrs etc)

I agree with apprentice, this is great value. I never signed up for plus, this sealed the deal for me. Apparently game sharing with a friend can also be done with plus so you can split the cost with another trusted friend.

Not really that much different to the streaming services like netflix and hulu we've gotten used to.

@ Oldskillful Yes they seem to be for next gen consoles but running on current gen PCs :)

@ PSN Plus, that is a very good deal for d hardcore ps3 men, but for men like me who only want to play a very select few games (not available on psn) it makes no sense atal. (I dont use netflix, hulu, any of that stuff either, need higher quality than they provide)

@ Berzerk, that is final fantasy and its part of their lore, but d technology is damned impressive, to think games next year and year after going to be looking like that....yummy.

yeah, not moved by psn plus  to be honest (for the exact reason messiaah stated)

nor was I moved by the wii u (though I will still get it because I'm a nintendo fan)

really really looking forward to the next gen. A little underwhelmed by the current E3 because of the lackthereof.

Fingers and toes crossed for a next gen E3 2013

   8. Resident Evil 6
   9. Need for Speed Most Wanted

   PC (2013)
   1. Dead Space 3
   2. Tomb Raider
   3. Star Wars 1313
   4. Crysis 3

        8. Splinter Cell Blacklist

    PS3 (2013)

Wasn't convinced on the WiiU, at least with the game lineup, but I do love the new innovation and how ZombiU looks.

Ubisoft came out EXTREMELY strong especially with WatchDogs, too bad thats for 2014.

EA dropped some serious titles as well.

Very Solid E3 imo. Didnt expect any next gen announcement, so I wasn't disappointed.

'Underwhelmed' boy TW...with all them kickass games in the pipeline on so many platforms?

WTB: one psychiatric evaluation for TW.   :laughing7:

I am SO glad a lot of them not showing for a year or two...my wallet offers its gratitude in advance.

I can't deny the value of PSN, now that Sony has announced the 'free' games, but I'm one of those that prefer 'ownership', so the PSN model I could never agree to pay for (in principle).  If PSN was a more major part of my life, then yeah.  That said though, I WILL be buying the PS3 version of Assassin's Creed 3, if that super-hyper-mega-cyber AWESOME sea-battle DLC turns out to be PSN-exclusive.

I still haven't seen the M$ conference, but by all accounts, there's not much to see unless you're a Halo/COD fan.

I'm wondering now if to bother watching the Nintendo conference at all.   I still have ZERO interest in the WiiU.

Ubisoft's shareholders probably smiling from all now.  Of all the big-name publishers, I think their lineup of games is the most solid for the next two years...followed closely by EA.  About 80% of my 'games-to-get' list is now comprised of titles from those two.

WTB: 1 clone to do all my regular life shiznit.   :laughing7:

I meant underwhelmed by the lack of nextgen "hardware" at E3. Not software.

Stoked by the games as mentioned earlier, especially Watch Dogs and 1313

Wyatt but i tell u a few months ago, yuh not seeing no ps4 anytime soon, u was actually really expecting to see that dread? lolol.
Sony and Microsoft in d business of making money, thats d bottom line. They doh need no next gen hardware right now. They still milking d market. I in no way form or fashion expect next gen consoles anytime soon. And if thats what u was looking forward too tuh end up underwhelmed, well, lol, yuh look for that.
