I really think xbox live is no longer worth the money. It was, at a point in time when psn didn't have as much features and had a couple connection problems here and there but psn has stepped up and proven to be an almost identical experience for free. So I'm jumping ship and going sony. I'm selling my xbox to buy a ps3. It's a 250gb slim glossy finish and its in good condition. Your also getting mw2, black ops and bad company 2 ultimate edition. The dlc extras in the ultimate edition are untouched so you can download d extra maps and vietnam etc. Calling a starting price of $2700. negotiable of course. If you're a sony person and want to jump ship to microsoft, I have no problems in trading my xbox for a ps3, so we could work something out.

I know this isn't comercial advertising so I don't think I broke any rules but I'm honestly not sure. Admins/Mods please inform me if I did. Thanks.

When I bought an Xbox last year, I didn't think much of the subscription cost.
But today, it burns, it really burns.
Coming from free online play on PSN to Xbox Live.

So what I've done is let the gold subscription expire, and when it expires, there's an ad on the dashboard that offers you 1 or 2 months of Xbox Live Gold for $1usd/month.
So then I renew on that price, cancel automatic renewals.
Let it expire again, and take the deal again.
LOL
12 months gold for $12. I could handle that cost.

They run various promotions off and on. As he said, usually for a month or two at a dog cheap price.

Its a good way to entice new and old xbox live users.

Nope. I've been doing this since December I think.
My subscription expired 2 days ago and I renewed paying for 2 months for $2.

Cancel auto-renewal. Rinse, repeat. lol

I guess when they do decide to not run those promotions. I'm screwed.
