XBL Games on Demand / PSN Games

It's a shame that we are region locked from buying games here in the Caribbean. I have heard though that's its possible to use a VPN to download games from both PSN and XBOX LIVE Games on Demand. Does anybody have any experience with doing this? How well does it work? I usually use ezone for my games but downloading may prove to be even cheaper. Also, I find that ezone is getting a little expensive. Does anyone know any better service/skybox etc.? Thanks in advance people.

I've used XBL Games on Demand on two different occasions for Oblivion and Borderlands using a VPN.....It's the only way to get around the region block

I think he's talking about Games On Demand and not the XBL Arcade Wyatt....where you can get full games like MW3, Halo Reach etc

I bought full games on XBL as well. Not just arcade games.

So maybe some games are available and others are not.

hmm, Wyatt, you're probably the first I've heard to download games from XBL with no issues....that's cartainly interesting. Jarrox, how exactly did you do it? Like what program etc. and if you used microsoft points or actually used  a credit card. thnks

I've used points in the past and more recently, bought directly on the xbox using my vtm (visa debit card)

VPNs are really easy to work with. You don't really need any Networking nor IT experience...all you need is the ability to read, learn and understand. With that said I will pass on some knowledge and allow you to fill in the blanks.

www.google.com is a good start so is www.youtube.com

There are many free VPNs...try spotflux

Put the pieces together and you're good to go.

Oh, like TriniWyatt I too have downloaded games without any problems without a VPN and there are others where I needed a VPN. Microsoft funny like that.
