I am surprised the Cayman has unlimited 4g for so cheap. You could replace a domestic connection with that if you're not a hardcore gamer

Prices seem pretty good. What you guys are missing is that generally speaking prices aren't set relative to other territories, cost or anything along those lines. What they're doing is called market pricing. Since Digicel is providing a premium product and one that is exclusive to them atm they basically setting the price to suit. Hence their low price point is gauged to take bmobile's market share and then they gradually step it up from there to their top end product.
The U.S. is a very different type of pricing. While they also price to market, operators have to be cognizant of the fact that there are direct substitutes to their service available. Maybe we'll see a price war here when bmobile launches.

The Blackberry social plans are also VERY aggressively priced, their 400MB plan is cheaper than Bmobile's current plan on EDGE. Given that the overwhelming majority of smartphones in T&T are bberrys this isn't surprising either.

As to the talk of unlimited, not going to happen. Not on Digicel and 100% not on bmobile. If it does happen at all, expect it to be at a ridiculous price point that you probably won't b willing to pay (srs).

TSTT needs to launch there FIOS network already, and give flow some pressure.
And not to worried bout Digicel gettin out the gate first with 4g. They got out the gate first in cayman also. But Bmobile/LIME's service is better. Faster, better stability. I suspect d same thing will happen in trinidad.

btw... if it had number portability in trinidad.. i swapping to digi TODAY..
but seeing that bmobile will fight that to they dying breath, i'll have to do one of them 7day packages just to test and make sure thats where i want to go.. but i'm liking what im seeing thus far...

btw, i happen to pass by a tv this morning and see a tstt representative talking about they launch wireless tv and 4g mobile internet... anybody know what she talking about regarding 4g? is it their same dongle nonsense?.. the website has nothing on it

It would be the same MiFi, dongle etc.

As far as number portability and tstt fighting it down, it may surprise you to learn that Digicel is just as against it as bmobile is. Yup, neither side is interested in providing it.

well my htx sensation gets a text saying my handset is not 4g compatible along with an iphone4... when i try to confirm the service activation..

Firstly, you just posted the 4s, which is the new one, that mite have changed things. Secondly i think apple release an update to ios to make it display as 4g on at&t network.
Third, HSDPA is not 4g, for the record.
