Designing a local side scroller beat em up

So this idea has been in my head for a while now..
was playing some good old streets of rage and final fight the other
day and i was wondering how cool would it be to have a game based in/on trinidad.
I'm thinking along the same route of sof/ff and the graphics being 16bit.
I have the story and some concepts already.

So what I was wondering is if anyone of you fellow gatters would be interested in helping producing
said concept?

I just came from a preview of a local game being designed as well.

Great potential for projects like this, thanks to thriving market places on IOS / Android / Steam / etc....

Definitely worth looking into.

Should be able to tell you much more and even show some mocks up in a month time.

First thing I recommend is a GDD and TDD (Game Design Doc and Tech Design Doc). Lay out the Entire game in the GDD, lay out the tech (engine, code structure etc) in the TDD.
