...but that kinda gameplay usually gets me killed...quickly.

My gameplay is mostly shooting and hiding...and using cloak mode to flank and then BOOM, headshot.

As you say that... I see Psycho is back, but what about Nomad?
Is he also fighting the alien menace somewhere else? There was no mention of him in Crysis 2, and it doesn't look like there's any mention of him in this game either.

I would really have liked to see a continuation of his storyline, especially in light of that cliffhanger ending.

I guess Crytek has to hold back something for Crysis 4, right?

Well you know my view... How pissed I am at crytek for not continuing the story from original game. Here's hoping they fix that in the future.

You see this is how its supposed to be done. Release a blasted demo of the game so at least I could see what its like before I decide to buy.

I hope other game studios are taking note. I will not be buying games that do not have demos.

Abso-bloody-lutely GORGEOUS!!!

Gameplay is spot-on as well. Settings on 'High' @ 2560 x 1440. Getting a solid 55-60 fps (adaptive V-sync enabled).
The new beta driver from Nvidia (313.96) actually made quite a difference in performance, so yeah, you're gonna want to get it.

...and doh study Cevat. There will be no melting of PCs.

'Hunter' mode is wicked fun. I thought it would be a camp-fest, but so far, everyone seems to have embraced the spirit of the mode.
The hunters have the nanosuit with all its abilities, and the nasty, NASTY bow

, and the Cell troopers have their guns and EMP nades.
They also have a module that alerts you with a special sound when a cloaked hunter is nearby, which increases in volume and pitch as they get closer,
but you have no sense of their relative position. Luckily, the EMP nade destroys the cloak and armour AND reveals their position on the mini-map
for a few crucial seconds. The balance between both factions is great.

I LIKE what I'm seeing here, Crytek...I really do. This could be a nice addition to the online MP scene once the hackers can be kept at bay.

That the SP will be stellar is a given.

Day one purchase for me.

Laptop seems to be running everything nicely

Alot less mem leak from 2 and especially 1. I can run on High/Very High settings on the 1920x1080 res that the laptop can provide. pretty happy about it.

Visually this game looks like you're playing in a HD painting at times. Really pretty.

----UPDATE-------

Just installed the new drivers for the laptop NVIDIA cards (have a 2GB 675M) and I can crank up a few more settings to max. Very nice - the image below is prior to that
