I've been streaming for a while now and I can be pretty helpful. You will be surprised the smallest mistakes that the best broadcasters use can make a huge difference. One mere click can ruin ur stream. It may seem sensitive and intimidating at first but ultimately its fairly simple once you learn what is what and what to look out for.
So I don't think there is enough people to create a guide yet so lets start with Questions and Answers. If i do not know the answer I will definitely find out for you.
First question as an example I was asked today and is a problem i hit early on and you will too.
Question :
All my settings seem to be fine but my stream does not pick up my game however it can see my desktop?Answer: There are roughly 3 main answers for this but primarily first off start with the game.
1. Most of the time some stream programs do not pick up fullscreened games well. So try running it in borderless window or window mode. Try a smaller game res if necessary.
2. Game developers may not want you to stream. Believe it or not some games especially betas or highly copyrighted content come with anti stream programming built into the game. Check on the game's forums for such an issue.
3. The stream program may not recognize you want to stream a game. On any decent stream program there is a game mode or game source mode. Try this.
You should also almost always run the stream program then you game. If any further problems with this specific point just ask a question here or even adjust your games compatibility settings found in its properties.
