Well they use it mainly to market "popcorn" movies. Didn't really bother me, looks like fun.

Thing is the trailer for the first one was decent and the movie turned out to be a dud... so I have to take this trailer in with even MORE salt than the last. Sadly most movies with Sam look to be good and turn out to be

Clever, they made a sequel for a movie that didn't need one, made a story that can't be bickered about from the original (There wasn't one, sequel wise) and as others said before, DL and for liming. Meh, we'll see how the critics will dissect this one.

While not a masterpiece obviously, it was entertaining. A step up from Clash Of The Titans.

The last 30 mins was the best part. The battle with Kronos was longer and more satisfying than that of the Kraken . Though it seems they tried to pack a lot of ideas etc. into the short running time which kinda bogged it down. Still didn't regret it.

Those that saw it in 3D. Worth the extra money? Or should I just go for a 2D showing.

3D effects were actually well done but I wouldn't say that you "have" see it in 3D. It's up to you.

Also this was a little more violent than I expected, good stuff.

Took your word for it and decided to watch it in 3D IMAX.
Got the coveted center seat!

Anyway, there were a handful of really great 3D effects used in the film, and the 3D really helped to showcase the scale of the environments.

And I just quote you to sum up my exact feelings about it:

They showed the trailer for Prometheus in 3D before the movie.
