« on: December 13, 2011, 07:40:03 PM »
http://games.ign.com/articles/119/1192614p1.html

Doesn't look nearly as big of a year as 2011, but there are a few titles i am looking forward to, namely:

StarCraft 2 Heart of the Swearm

Borderlands 2

Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

Hitman: Absolution

DOTA 2 (which isnt there and not recognized as a game by IGN apparently )

Or maybe DOTA 2 not coming up till 2014, lol

Most importantly, how could any gamer not be anticipating Mass Effect 3??!

Didn't like Mass effect 1. Played for like an hr and got bored... Just not my style of RPG.

Darksiders 2 maybe, other than that, not a fan of the games Berserk posted either =/

Looking out for Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, but I'll believe it when I see 'available now'

Aliens: Colonial Marines (had better not suck)

Metro: Last Light

...and depending on how the rest of Mass Effect 2 goes, Mass Effect 3.

+1 for Diablo 3

Mass Effect 1 was "decent" but Mass Effect 2 was a master piece

Trust me on that one Virtue, don't skip the sequel on account of the initial game.

You'll be missing one of the greatest RPG experiences on the planet.

Unless they remake FF7 for this gen or next gen consoles, there is no greater RPG in history to me. Don't care what anyone says. Plus, after playing KOTOR 1 and 2, Oblivion, i can't really bring myself to play the long winded RPG's. Next reason i didn't touch Witcher 1 & 2 or Skyrim yet. I'm enjoying my jump in, jump out games at this point in time.

FF7 is a masterpiece but don't let that deny you the experience of others.

Plenty great games out there.

They aren't going anywhere, you can play it in 2012 or 2013.

I only played Half Life (another masterpiece) about two years after it was released. lol

One of the best FPS experience's ever. Don't regret it for a minute.

Wasn't actually looking forward to Ghost Recon on PC anyway.

Xbox 360 for that.

They've already airmarked another CoD game?! WTF.... i thought they would have slowed down by now :S

By the way, i agree with Virtue on the front of jump in - jump out games. I've grown tired of long games in the past few years. I usually have to make a commitment to even start one of those longer games.
Last long game i've played was Final Fantasy 13, oh, and GTA4...
