I'm getting an Xperia play soon. I currently have a Storm 2 with Bmobile's $100 a month BB plan. Is there any way for TSTT to track my data usage after I switch phones? I have heard that they can't. I want to know if I can just put in my sim and continue paying the same bill or if I should go in and get the unlimited data plan which costs $50 more.

on your new fone switch your APN to internet and your bb package will provide edge to your phone....if you have a limited plan, that will be capped.

I originally bought an 8520 during one of those firesales when BB first started becoming me too phones, 2 year contract.

Couple months later I ditched that POS and got myself a Nexus 1 and as captain said, added apn (done in about 10 seconds) and that was that.

That 2 yr contract is nearly up and I feel I extending it because is a 5mb 100/month plan and it seems to be unlimited because I've gone wayyyy over 5mb every single month and the bill is the same.

They will be able to track your data usage, they will also know that you have switched phones, but who in bmobile is gonna be monitoring what every sim on the network does :/

No need to worry, it works flawlessly with both bmobile and digicel BB plans and you most likely won't have to touch a single setting. I got myself the Xperia Arc recently, upgraded from the w810i walkman. Great phone, got the 50mb/mo plan for it as well.

It depends on what you need from a phone really.

Love it so far, too sexy not to look at, huge screen, excellent loudspeaker, camera and the same great in-ear earphones from the walkman series. It makes calls and can hold all my music, what more can i ask for...lol! My only gripe is the battery life. I'm accustomed to charging my phone once every two weeks, this one i get about two days before it needs charging. It takes some getting used to but it's hardly a problem.
