Hint: Many low scores were tracked back to EA

Really? If you believe that then you could believe anything.

I do agree that there are a lot of unfair reviews. I can understand that some may be disappointed but a score of zero just isn't right. Surely they're trolling.

Exactly, it's a good mix of both.
Anyway, BF3 is out, MW3 is out. Pick your game and play.
Everyone's happy. :)

Played a few more games tonight, and things seem to be settling down. Quite fun with a full team as usual.

The only issue I'm having (atm) is this matchmaking debacle. I mean, why can't I level on dedicated servers like how it is done on matchmaking? Did they just put dedis to chain-up PC players into buying it? I see dedis with good pings, which is 110ms for me, and it works great. With matchmaking, they wanna match me with games of 150ms and upwards :S

I am enjoying MW3, mind you, but this thing with unranked dedis, just makes it seem pointless that they added dedicated servers to begin with. We don't have choice and to me, the dedicated servers they put in, gives us the illusion of choice :|

Your MW3 tears...I can taste them.

I am sorry, but those of you who bought this game gave Activision 9.3 million reasons (and counting)
to give you the same thing next year, and you know what?  You're going to buy it anyway.

Why complain?

Yeah...this is what you get when MW3 quits unexpectedly...

Cap...are you serious?

That is what you call 'cruel irony'.  :shakehead:

I have to see that for myself yes.  Waaayyyyyyyyy.

To be fair, they are not complaining. However, it does seem to those who love the game, that we are the ones complaining.

So i am talking to a co worker here, and the guy is just bashing the game, he is a die hard COD fan..I am talking t-shirt the works. He said that its like playing mw2 all over again and activision needs a new engine. Why he would waste cash to play the same damn game. Its like a Honda Civic owner, a big muffler and a spoiler. You fasssssssssssssssssssssss..

LOL !! I done we!

Honestly, I love the game, my main issue was with the execution of Elite at launch. The game itself plays great. The Campaign is amazing, and the MP is starting to warm up. Once all the little things are fixed, this is no doubt an extremely SOLID game and I endorse it (+).

Forgive the initial rant, I was tired from work, a bit stressed out and well Elite being down and having some issues with the MP was not helping.

Either way, people are missing out on one of the better titles this year. My Advice is wait a week till the dust settles and everything is smooth...

Yeah...this is what you get when MW3 quits unexpectedly...

Just when i thought i saw it all...

This PC version keeps looking like more of a fail every passing day. No wonder the PC rating is something like 2.7. I can't see myself spending $60 on a MW2 map pack, my money would be better spent on Skyrim or Arkham City.

I am enjoying MW3, mind you, but this thing with unranked dedis, just makes it seem pointless that they added dedicated servers to begin with. We don't have choice and to me, the dedicated servers they put in, gives us the illusion of choice :|

Yup, Berzerk posted an article about this before it was released. More gimmicks to boost sales it seems.

My Advice is wait a week till the dust settles and everything is smooth...

Will do.

I've used gamerankings.com for years as a solid source for a game's ranking/rating.

Its an aggregate site that pulls together reviews from noteworthy publications and gives you an average.

The game is scoring pretty decent there

See for yourself

Props to Infinity Ward. (+)   They know how to make a single-player campaign exciting (and maddeningly frustrating all at the same time. )

Lets hope Activision has the vision to use some of those MW billions to take the franchise in a bold new direction.

...and @ W1nTry, some of us already bought it.  It's called MW2.  :laughing7:
