its a frigging 400US for a 3TB harddrive...

jump on newegg and check the prices....1TB going for 200US....

i feel like crying!.. right when i need a raid 1tb setup for fast loading games

OUCH!!!

It's good news for SSD makers though.

At those prices, hard drives just lost their price advantage.

This maybe just the thing to usher in a new era of blazing fast computer performance fueled by mass SSD adoption.

I'm definitely going to restate my case to top management at the office to make the switch. Got shut down last time due to price concerns.

Man, i hope my HDD's don't die anytime soon...this is bad business.

I guess this would be the case for some, but not me at all. HDD space is not something i can sacrifice. Even if prices double :- $300 for 2 x 1TB HDD vs $275 for 256GB SSD, it's still not gonna be worth it to me...not at all. 256GB would probably barely suffice for my main drive and i would still need another drive for all the other stuff.
