Video Capture

Hi peeps, I am hoping to do some video capture for my BF3 gaming experience, was even hoping to try my hand at some Machinima for maybe wow or SWTOR when it comes out (love those videos). Can anyone recommend to good video capture software, it does not have to be free or open source, sometimes you do get what you pay for.

This came up immediately although it's not the one i was looking for. It does seem to do everything and it is free for non-commercial use.

When i am home i will send you the name of the two i tested.

Forgot to mention FRAPS which is the most commonly used i think:

Though from what i hear it puts a beating on your hardware.

Debut Video dont seem to be the one for me, it is a bit 'iffy', I also tried GameCam, that turned out to be lame. Fraps is a software I use a couple years ago, the free version seems to leave the fraps logo on your video , bummer.I dont mind paying a few bucks for some software but its got to be user friendly, and works great.

FRAPs is great for in-game recording, but you take a big hit in fps while recording, and the output files are HUGE.

That one seems to be the best imo.
