they better not stick after ep2
I would hope that this would not be the end of SW flicks, maybe EU like someone said....
but damm, palpatine is giving away his plans
I have found that Lucas did a very good job in making a complex plan for palpatine's ascension while not making it too unbelieveable like similar storylines in the EU novels ( some of those things were so lame, that is why I only really read Allston and Stackpole, and of course Zahn)
but now that he is breaking it down perhaps people would appreciate the minor points of subtle plotlines in the story in ep1&2
sucks though that everyone else wouldm't figure it out for themselves........

They didnt pay him any money. He did it for free. Instead he asked for a percentage of the profits derived after the movie was released. He is still being payed

Check out the novel 'Cloak of Deception'.
It shows the first part of Palpatine's plan where he secures Nute Gunray's position as well as securing his nomination for Chancellor.
For all the people who diss the new trilogy,it's too bad they don't seem to realize the genius planning GL has put behind Palpatine's rise.

but Lucas handled Anakin in ep2 VERY clumsily,
as well as the relationship Anakin had with every other major character in the ep2 SCRIPT

It shows how Anakin was still immature in his training and u can definitely see the darkside Aura eminating from him so i would say that GL didnt handle Anakin clumsily

the man is nineteen, and Amidala was 24 or so
Lucas made them out like very immature young teenagers, 14-15
and his acting did not rise above the writing

Yep,remember the Clone army was ordered 10 years before the Battle of Geonosis. This is the same time period when Dooku would obviously have to place the order impersonating Sifo Dyas. This is also the time period where he leaves the Jedi Order and takes back up his hereditary title of Count.
FYI,Dooku is one of the most independently wealthy men in the galaxy.

It's spelt Xizor.
But Xizor was the 3rd ricest man in the galaxy, after Palpatine and Vader during the Galactic Civil War.
But pre-Clone Wars Xizor wouldn't have had all that cash since he wasn't the head of Black Sun back then.
