Saw a friend post this on facebook and was interesting. From what i understand, this is a SERVICE you PAY for depending. This is the sort of shit your money is going to be wasted on?

The Amazon Cloud drive offers 5 GB of free online storage that you can access from any computer. If you need more storage space, paid plans are available for storage up to 1,000 GB.

5. Storing Your Files on the Service


5.2 Our Right to Access Your Files. You give us the right to access, retain, use and disclose your account information and Your Files: to provide you with technical support and address technical issues; to investigate compliance with the terms of this Agreement, enforce the terms of this Agreement and protect the Service and its users from fraud or security threats; or as we determine is necessary to provide the Service or comply with applicable law. 

5.3 Security.  We do not guarantee that Your Files will not be subject to misappropriation, loss or damage and we will not be liable if they are. You’re responsible for maintaining appropriate security, protection and backup of Your Files.

Well once you have an active amazon account

i.e. where you making purchases regularly

you're supposed to get 5GB free which is basically

enough for me but I haven't tried it out yet

cause I'm still using dropbox which has 2GB free

and I've only used 20% so far

I think his concern is more with the violations of privacy than with the actual cost factor.

The way I see it, anything you have on the net is in the "public domain". lol

Regardless of what they put on the sign up agreement.

Ie BS, cloud supposed to be encrypted and not up for PUBLIC, not even the govt supposed to get your stuff easily from the cloud... Oh check the rates out as well... EPIC FAIL = AMAZON CLOUD
