I would like to congratulate a long standing GATT member on his latest achievement. Since our Halo 2 days on Xbox we used to joke around, play Halo 2 and just have fun gaming. Thats what gaming is about, fun and good times.

Cheers Shiv!, Here is to your success at Sledgehammer Games and the new Call of Duty game that you will be part of. Make Trinidad & Tobago proud man. Don't forget us small folk! LOL

P.S. Small favor, see if you could get them to put a T&T flag in the game somewhere nah...ROFL

But seriously, dont know how much influence you have in your new position but I advise that you read the blogs and forums (including this one) and take what you learn to your team. I know you are a hardcore pc gamer so it is good to know there is possibly someone batting for us.

Hey folks it has been......A WHILE! Working at Sledge is nothing short of a dream job. I love it. Imagine being able to obsess over a game, EVERY DAY and its OKAY!

Shiv, regardless of my opinions where Activision is concerned, I know you're gonna knock em out the park.

At this point I wish I could say that I'm psyched for MW3, but Battlefield is where my attention, and by extension my money, is at this time around.

I'll be keeping this one at arm's length for now.

That said, I wish things turn out 'proper'.

W1n is close. I have 4 degrees, 2 are in gaming (Business Management, Multimedia Design, Game Design and my MSc. in Game Production). Yep pretty much leave TnT if you want to make games on a large scale. There is never a direct road map. Everyone I have heard has started a career in this industry (especially recently) took an academic route - animation, art and programming are the best entry points.

1. Tons and TONS of networking
2. Lots of research, learning and understanding (reading on game forums or community sites is not enough, they are commercially inclined)
